Morning all. Opting for warmth here today!

Dress - Fat Face

Morning everyone. Back to home school while working from home today so I've put a skirt on to cheer myself up! Hope everyone's doing ok.

Skirt - warehouse
Jumper - M&S
Thermal tights - Aldi (needed today - there was a scattering of snow the morning 🥶)

I'll try to get us all out for a walk later, will wear my DMs - I also have the Aimilita ones, they're lovely

Except for a few silly people who have started threads on MN I'm sure that no one will be counting how much you DD exercises @Sooverthemill if she had a dog she'd probably need to be out more than that, I difficult because I'm not a rule breaker but there's also an element of common sense and they had to give a number otherwise people would be asking for clarification. We obviously both woke up and thought lets wear green today!

Never had anything from fatface @CaveMum is the quality good?

@Sickoffamilydrama I like their stuff! I’ve got a few dresses, cardigans and a big duvet-like winter coat from there. Plus they do nice thick woolly tights! However I did discover on another S&B thread that many people consider FatFace to be frumpy and mumsy, so perhaps I’m not the best judge 😂

Wore a dress for a change today, something I picked up on a whim in pre-Christmas sales rack. I like the print but its far too short at the back really!

Funnily enough going on your paperbag Next trousers (love them by the way!) - I dragged my olive green paperbag trousers from H&M out of the chest of drawers last night - they fitted me still and they'll be worn now!

Thanks @CaveMum might check out their tights chunky ones that are decent are hard to come by.

@coffeeandcardigans it doesn't look to short prehaps the frill on the bottom makes it feel shorter? I find fuller short dresses/skirts feel shorter on than tight ones.

Glad I've made you use your trousers @CleverCatty posting on here has made me get back into thinking what I wear but also knowing what suits me, the photos help with that as you can see it more easily and I'm using all of my clothes more....as well as buying some new items!

Very frosty here this morning. I’m missing my real office - it’s always lovely and warm there (and someone else pays the heating bill).

All bought during 2020. I spent quite a lot of money on clothes last year. Still resisting the January sales (aside from one set of exercise clothes).

It's frosty here too but no snow yet 😔 I always notice how well insulated the extension is as the frost is gone from the roof of main part of the house but still on our extension but the extension is nice and warm which is good.

Like the out @OublietteBravo it looks very warm.

I'm wearing the jumpsuit it dyed I was worried about doing it but I'm so glad I did as I'll actually wear it much more now.

Love that colour combination might steal it I forgot how good green and pink can be together.

@Sickoffamilydrama Yes its fine at the front but I think because its frilly and loose it moves to much at the back. If I raise my arms or even slightly bend over you can definitely see my underwear - confirmed by my DH yesterday who was rather amused! Still it will be fine with leggings and for days I'm not leaving the house which is every day at the moment.

I'm working from home in: grey Primark workout leggings, a grey and white stripy jumper from H&M, some very fetching fox slipper socks which I got for Christmas and my secret saviours pregnancy band (worth a try I thought..!!)

So my heavenly feet boots are most definitely coming apart which is annoying but then they weren't massively expensive but they are very warm and comfortable but the material is pulling away from the sole.

So I can just about afford the Ecco boots but I could stretch to Solovair I'm leaning towards the Ecco ones as they have a zip and I know Ecco fits me and is comfortable what do you lot think?

I like the Solovair ones best, I think @sickoffamilydrama, but I love DMs, so that's probably why. Both pairs are nice. I also love your new high waisted trousers.

Really like today's outfits @OublietteBravo and @Sooverthemill. The ash pink dungarees look fab, @coffeeandcardigans. I have them and love them, it's such a versatile colour!

I'm pretty casual today but made more effort with my make-up than usual. I'm finding I'm playing around with different "looks" a lot more as if it's dreadful I'm not going out anyway so it doesn't matter. I'm also finding I'm wearing more make up than usual for Zoom calls as otherwise I look shattered. I've been enjoying experimenting, although today I remembered that I'm just too messy for red lipstick because I've somehow ended up with it all I've my hand. I don't even know how. 🙄🤷‍♀️

My new (to me, via eBay) All Saints Balfern arrived today. I think I like it but need to try it on with a different outfit to be sure, really. "Styled" with my slippers isn't the best look... 😂 😂

These Ecco boots also have a zip (at the back) and are slightly cheaper than the ones you’ve been looking at @Sickoffamilydrama - £126 for black or £108 for the grey. (That’s probably not helpful, but I just thought I’d mention it).

Thanks @OublietteBravo I do like the white version bit they aren't practical. I love these heeled boots I can't really wear heels anymore but can wear platforms so maybe I need them as they are platforms 🤫

Love the trousers @Sooverthemill and @Sickoffamilydrama. Cold with a sprinkling of snow today so its Hobbs wool trousers (fully lined and very cosy) and John smedley roll neck
