What a great summary brewthru, it was nice to be reminded what we’ve had so far!

I do like this body cream but already have a couple of others to use up! I really should use body lotion more often but I’m just too lazy, whereas my face gets treated to a multi step ritual!

ajandjjmum · 17/12/2020 12:33

I saw someone being interviewed this morning on TV (GMB), with their Liberty Advent Calendar displayed in the background! Grin

Stokey · 17/12/2020 13:04

I haven't used this before but it smells amazing. Put some on this morning and can still smell it now, no need for perfume. I think this was a good day.

Tangomango1 · 17/12/2020 13:39

I agree with that great summary @BrewThru! Thank you ! and I saw that too @ajandjjmum 😀 I was stupidly excited to see it on TV.

Love the whole look & smell of today's cream. I have heard of the brand but never tried it so I am very pleased.

Just as a result of fantastic results from the aveda treatment on my long curly hair, I thought I would try another leave in conditioner - this time something that was a free gift from Kerastase. Because my hair is quite fine, I had never seen the use for leave in stuff as I thought it would make my hair lank (Curly girl method always does that). Today I used this as my only conditioner and my hair is great again. So no disrespect for Aveda, I think I have started to love this method of hair treatment.

Is there anyone else on here so childish that they are ahead on their drawers? I won't give anything away, but I am on the 20th (my birthday) now. It is lovely. I keep excusing it by thinking I will be busy (too busy to open a beauty gift?) later on

mynameiscalypso · 17/12/2020 18:23

@friendlyflicka I'm so childish that I'm totally superstitious about opening the doors/boxes on the 'wrong' day. No idea what I think will happenBlush

friendlyflicka · 17/12/2020 18:46

@mynameiscalypso But you will have a present on Christmas Eve when I am too 'busy' to open mine

Pomegranatespompom · 17/12/2020 20:50

@mynameiscalypso I’m superstitious about opening early too. What could happen ?!

mynameiscalypso · 17/12/2020 20:55

I would joke and say 'maybe Christmas would be cancelled' but in the current times, that's not much of a joke!

Me as well. My 3yo who ‘helps’ me open each day opened the 21st on the 12th and I saw the contents! Haven’t been struck by lightening yet but seen a suspiciously high number of solo magpies so sense something ominous is afoot! A global pandemic perhaps???

friendlyflicka · 17/12/2020 21:14

I am unscathed at the moment, but you are alerting me to the peril I am unleashing.

With the current situation, I am finding this calendar and this thread exactly the safe place I need.

GinandGingerBeer · 17/12/2020 22:24

Great summary there @BrewThru Smile Thank you. I really need to try more of the products........ I finish work tomorrow for Xmas so I intend to enjoy lots of pampering over the coming days.

Nc135 · 18/12/2020 05:45

@friendlyflicka I am two ahead. Shock I justify it by the fact I will be busy running up to Xmas too. Hahaha too busy to open a gift! I can say one thing. Today’s is lovely Xmas Wink

MiaN · 18/12/2020 07:02

I am always happy to try new cleanse but will report if I am happy with it after I use it.

I used the hair shampoo yesterday and it's really nice as well as the shower gel form the set -smells lovely!

Tangomango1 · 18/12/2020 07:18

In my efforts to use everything on the day, I have just used today's morning cleanser and it's a thumbs up from me. I don't usually pamper my skin this much & it is feeling so soft. My usual routine is using a face wash to remove makeup & maybe a little moisturiser. I am very boring 😀

So, using all these products throughout December is a real treat & my skin is feeling lovely!

Nc135 · 18/12/2020 07:29

Ahhh I also love today’s product. It smells so lovely. And feels so fresh. It won’t do anything more than another face wash I am sure but I love love the smell and how that makes me feel special.
