Keep in mind that pre cleanse dermalogica was out years before double cleanse! It's one of the first oil cleanser. It is just cleanse really and it's fantastic makeup remover. If you don't like it use a drop when washing your makeup brushes - it's fab for that too

KatharinaRosalie · 08/12/2020 09:19

Can't stand the smell. Same as the bath oil and as someone else said, both smell of toilet cleaner to me.

MolotovMocktail · 08/12/2020 09:23

Yuck, hate today’s. Smells like mouthwash!

Luvacuppatea · 08/12/2020 10:15

I rather like the body wash. Mine doesn’t have much smell to it at all, which is fine by me as at least it won’t dominate if I’m planning on wearing perfume. That said, I’ve had another spray of the Dear Polly this morning and it’s starting to grow on me! Doesn’t smell quite so sweet. Or maybe it does, but I just knew what to expect today so was ready for it haha..

mrsduff · 08/12/2020 10:39

Just dropping into this thread to say I am loving to read all your thoughts about the products so felt I should de-lurk to express my thanks :)

I am living overseas, so open my calendar 8 hours before the UK, and when I open the box every day I think to myself 'I wonder what everyone will make of this'. Sad I know!

After many many Christmases of not getting surprise presents that I actually like, I'm really enjoying having something nice to open every day. And as a PP said, the randomness of the products is part of the fun. The perfume especially was something I wouldn't normally buy but a nice size for weekend away etc.

I will stop rambling now!

AsPerMyLastEmail · 08/12/2020 16:52

I haven’t used the precleanse yet so appreciate the comments on how to use it. I’ll definitely be using it to also double up as a make up brush cleaner - top tip!

I love the Bamford bottle and am looking forward to using it. I also love the perfume bottle but haven’t tried it yet as I have a few perfumes on the go already.

Orcadianrythyms · 08/12/2020 17:20

I hope the body wash can perform spa like miracles, they've just cancelled the Highers and Advanced Higher exams and I have a very upset teenager stomping about. May have to use all my products at the same time!!! I'm so over this bloody virus.

friendlyflicka · 08/12/2020 17:36

@orcadianrythyms I am sorry. I would use hair stuff, an advance application of aromatherapy and then out of the bath and the nicest loungewear and a good thorough spray of perfume. It is a very cosy comforting perfume

supadupapupascupa · 08/12/2020 17:48

I'm re-wearing a top today that I sprayed with the perfume yesterday, it smells lovely!! Definitely a grower smell wise.

AnnieHoo · 08/12/2020 19:21

@MrsDuff I also do it for the randomness after years and years of buying for myself, this way I finally get a lovely surprise, every dark day until Christmas! And it gets better the nearer you get to Christmas Day in my experience. The little beautiful things sit on my bathroom cabinet shelves and last me a long time. I adore the perfumes and the bath oils and little bits of makeup. I can give some things away as special gifts to friends.

Pomegranatespompom · 08/12/2020 19:31

That's lovely @mrsduff

I quite like the smell of the shower gel today. New brand for me too.

imp2007 · 08/12/2020 20:00

Just used today's shower gel and liked it a lot. Wore the perfume again today and found it really addictive - like somebody else said kept sniffing my wrist!!! I thought it was too sweet to start with but it has massively grown on me can't wait to wear it again tomorrow!!! Until today would have said the Venn was my fave so far but think the perfume has sneaked ahead to be my winner so far!!! Wonder what tomorrow will bring .......

KatharinaRosalie · 08/12/2020 20:40

I really like the perfume, it's the tea. Have to check out some others with tea smell as well.

Those small sizes make me miss travelling, I always collected them for my business trips, but now of course haven't had one for almost a year..

Onekidnoclue · 08/12/2020 22:09

Totally agree about Venn and the perfume @imp2007 annoyingly the most expensive to carry on using Blush

imp2007 · 08/12/2020 22:13

Lol @Onekidnoclue always the way!!!Smile

Polpette · 08/12/2020 22:27

How's everyone storing their new products? I don't want to stash them away with my usual stuff as something's bound to get forgotten and end up languishing in a make up bag.

At the moment I'm keeping everything in the advent calendar, but every time I want something it's like a memory game to get the right drawer! Except the Venn which pokes out of course.

supadupapupascupa · 08/12/2020 23:01

I put my creams and serums will my usual stash, shower and bath stuff in a basket, and spa/treat/occasional stuff goes into a case for pamper sessions.

KatharinaRosalie · 09/12/2020 06:36

Oh I like this, big fan of acids. Will try later.

MiaN · 09/12/2020 06:43

I like it too, happy to try it!

Pomegranatespompom · 09/12/2020 06:50

Happy with today’s.
@Polpette I keep a list of my items, cross off as I use but I do have quite a few 😳
I’ve found I’m using things more since doing this.

thecognoscenti · 09/12/2020 07:18

Do we put today's on, leave it a few minutes and then wash it off? I'd assume that if it's a mask?

Nc135 · 09/12/2020 07:19

Loved the smell of the body wash yesterday. It smells like a spa. Was just a bit annoying to get out.

Nc135 · 09/12/2020 07:21

@thecognoscenti the card says to leave on for 10 minutes so yes like a mask. I have to say the calendar is now coming into its own. Random beautiful things I would never buy.

mynameiscalypso · 09/12/2020 07:33

Keen to try this one - not quite sure whether it's better in the morning or evening?
