I am in utter awe and admiration of Kate. She is everything and more we could ask.

I do think that her hair needs a major rethink. She has such an elegant face and her her current style seems to be "draining" iyswim?

She's not long changed her hair .

DisgruntledPelican · 25/11/2020 22:06

It’s traditional in those sorts of circles to have a much shorter haircut as age increases. I will be very surprised if in the next 5-7 years she doesn’t end up with a naice shoulder-length bob.

I also hope she rocks a topknot in private.

MagicMatilda · 26/11/2020 05:24

Oh no, she cannot change the hair. The hair is everything. I want the hair :)

HotelliFinlandia · 26/11/2020 06:05

I don't see her changing her hair for a while - her mother has a bob and I reckon it'd start a lot of comparisons. Also don't have so many options for updos with a bob and that is part of her wardrobe in a way.

Eaumyword · 26/11/2020 06:22

I really like her too. I'm a bit dubious about the whole RF concept these days, but I do admire her elegance and joyfulness around people. She seems to offer stability too and knows the job and tends not to put a foot wrong.
I vote she keeps that swishy long hair!

ScienceSensibility · 26/11/2020 06:30

I think her hair is wonderful. She makes subtle changes quite regularly, layers, highlights etc.

If I had hair that thick and shiny I would be swishing it every minute of the day. 💇🏻‍♀️

PartoftheProbl3m · 26/11/2020 06:31

Oh fgs get a life OP

OutComeTheWolves · 26/11/2020 06:34

I like her hair. I particularly like that people/the press constantly bang on about it getting in the way or looking untidy on windy days or too long for her age Hmm etc but still she wears it how she likes. I like to think it's like a small act of defiance that also happens to look great.

Princess Anne and Princess Michael have long hair which they wear up.
Toilenstripes · 26/11/2020 06:39

How, exactly, is she “everything and more”? What has she ever done that’s so impressive?

Jazzistorture · 26/11/2020 07:02

What are you talking about her hair is 'everything and more'? Swishy, healthy, gorgeous colour, frames her beautiful face perfectoy, elegant length. I think you're jealous Wink

Toilenstripes · 26/11/2020 08:22

She’s definitely got me beat in the hair stakes. Overall substance not so much.

MikeUniformMike · 26/11/2020 09:27

Isn't her natural hair quite wavy?

Princess Anne has had the same hairstyle for decades and looks great.

WelliesWithHeels · 26/11/2020 09:37

Her hair is absolutely gorgeous! I wouldn't change a thing. And when she does want to look more sleek or formal, it seems her hairdresser knows how to put it up beautifully.

DuchessOfAmbridge · 26/11/2020 11:10

Crown Princess Mary of Denmark has long hair and sh's in her late 40s, and looks great.
Sophie Wessex has long hair and looks terrific.

Kate's hair looks a little bit too groomed at times for my taste but she always looks fine.

unmarkedbythat · 26/11/2020 11:13

I think she looks boring. All that money, all those connections, a figure like that and she looks so boring. I could ask for a lot more.

lemonsquashie · 26/11/2020 11:15

She is everything an more when you compare with her late mil

DuchessOfAmbridge · 26/11/2020 11:19

Princess Di had 'it' though. She went through a phase of wearing dodgy clothes then started dressing amazingly.

Kate's clothes tend to look very prim and proper.

ZaraW · 26/11/2020 12:25

She's a very privileged woman who gets the best of everything. No need to put her on a pedestal she isn't perfect. Nobody is.

Jazzistorture · 26/11/2020 12:42

She's not dressing to be interesting though, she's a royalty they have to dress safe and conservative. She's hardly kylie jenner or whatever. It's not her job to be avant guard and trend setter.

EverythingsTicketyBoo · 26/11/2020 12:50

Maybe she wears her hair in pigtails or space buns at home.

lemonsquashie · 26/11/2020 13:05

I think she has been very well groomed, trained, picked for the job. She handles herself well, never causes controversy or raises any eyebrows. I imagine her Maj is thrilled with kate. The perfect wife and ambassador for the royals. They could not have created a better robot to do the job

Plonque · 26/11/2020 13:17

I completely agree but I do not think any of that is a good thing.
I hate that she's a beautiful young woman but basically has to be so diluted she just ends up ... meh.
Dressing stylish but style that would suit someone twice her age.
I'm a bit over the royals now, nothing of recent years particularly looks favourably on them, IMO.

vinger · 26/11/2020 13:23

She does look fab but I think has gone a little overboard on the hair extensions over the past couple of years!

MrsHuntGeneNotJeremyObviously · 26/11/2020 13:38

I think her style is really boring. Those dull blouses! Her clothes are perfectly designed to just cover the body and say nothing about her as an individual.
