Thanks Mizu and that’s a super pattern! I’m 5’3” so that style will land mid to lower calf which is fine.

@faustina, my J+ hybrid in large arrived this afternoon and it is huge. I am still contemplating whether I can make it work as being oversized or if it simply swamps me and makes me look bigger than I am. I am waiting for the down coats in medium and large to arrive. If the hybrid is anything to go by, I will only need the medium.

I've also just ordered the JW Anderson pleated dress in navy and in black from the Uniqlo site. £39.99p each and they look fab.

@ToastCosILoveIt I find it really difficult to hit on the right size in Uniqlo.

@Countmeout, yes, sizing all over the place. I am sending back the Uniqlo down long coat (not the J+ range) as although it fits in a medium, there is no room for a jumper underneath.

@fautina, delivery incredible although only the single coat came, not the down coats or the four dresses (ordered multiples for size). It is decribed as the short hybrid coat but you can see from the photos that it isn't that short. Apologies, the photos aren't great. It is growing on me: very oversized and a-line but a really nice feel to the fabric and very light to wear. I love the standup collar but would probbaly have the arms taken up by an inch as they are reaching the tops of my fingers.

yes, I got one despatch notice so far and I think it's for the wool stole only. (I panic bought the coats first, then went back for the stole)

Thank you @faustina, i bought the two down coats at 7am and then went back for the hybrid coat and the dresses about ten minutes later. I didn't even get a dispatch note for the hybrid, it just turned up this afternoon.

That is a lovely coat @ToastCosILoveIt , certainly not short either. That was fast delivery.

@ToastCosILoveIt I’m eagerly awaiting delivery of my hybrid coat in navy and worrying that it will be too large. I ordered an M, in other brands I’m normally 10-12 but with Uniqlo It’s so unpredictable, I take their merino jumpers in L, yet trousers in 26 inch waist. What size do you normally wear?

Hi @luggageandbags, I am a solid 12, definitely not a 10 and it is massive, II woudl say it woudl fit up to a size 16. should have definitely ordered the medium. In Uniqlo I am often a medium, sometimes a large: you never can tell. Still, I am going to make it work as oversized.

If you are thinking of returning the medium, please, please let me know as I will buy it from you covering all fees and more . Having said all of that, I hope you find it 'fits' in an oversized way and you are happy with it!

some already on sale on the internet for loads of money! - there was an article linked on the Parisian S and B thread about the mayhem in Japan when they went on sale - and @ToastCosILoveIt - a photo of your jacket on a mannequin with the waist cinched right in and the sleeves turned over a few times

@Faustina, my long down coats have arrived: i have only tried on the large so far but it is definitely much less oversized than the hybrid short coat.

oh I'd love to see what they're like @ToastCosILoveIt. I was eyeing them up this morning, wondering whether to buy one. they do look fairly fitted

Well, I sent all my +J stuff back - the cashmere coat was nice but quite short, and the short hybrid down jacket was a bit overwhelming on me - felt like the number of things I could wear it with would be quite limited - that was also quite short on me - and I'm only 5'4. I wonder if they'll have a lot of returns?
I ordered the long down coat which should be arriving tomorrow - hopefully that will be more successful. Are you keeping yours @ToastCosILoveIt?

Hi @Fautina, yes, I really like the down coat (the long one) and will keep it. The large is a good fit: not particularly large at all. I have been looking for a long down coat for ages and this is the first one I feel happy with.

My +J dresses also arrived: the collarless shirt dresses in black and navy. I think I will keep both. The are medium and more than big enough (sleeves very long but look good rolled up.

Finally, the JW Anderson pleated dress also arrived which I will keep. It is in danger of looking a bit frumpy but worn with some DMs and good jewelry will lift it.

My +J navy hybrid coat arrived and I’m in love! It’s enormous but because it’s structured it somehow looks stylish rather than overwhelming and it fits just right at the shoulders. My only worry is that it won’t be as warm as I would like with all the flapping material but then I live in south west England and rarely need an arctic coat. It’s surprisingly light too. I had one of Arket down coats on standby but while probably warmer it just looks too normcore in comparison so it shall be going back.

The Men’s cardi that I ordered at the same time wasn’t in the package, I’m worried that it has been lost or stolen in transit. The bag definitely looked like it has been opened and closed again at some point (it came without the spare adhesive strip part). They haven’t advised that they are shipping in separate packages so it’s a concern.

Was there a shipping list or inventory in the bag Luggage? Sometimes it’ll be a returns form, but it will state what ought to have been in your order and what, if anything, is still outstanding.
