Hello!! Here is the new thread for all us Toast lovers ..

Also got the cotton canvas tapered trousers in both khaki and cedar and they are much nicer than I thought they'd be, the khaki is darker and the cedar more of a mellow gold/mustard than they seem online. Again the 12 brilliant fit on me (I am wide of thigh but narrow(er) of waist). I can't say I need another pair of khaki trousers, but...

Here they are with an Emma cotton half sleeve tee in pumpkin (M) which mysteriously went into the JL sale then out again.

zinnia trousers are good . I also bought the JL Emma tee in the sale. .mine is a bit big as I got the L but keeping anyway at that price.
Here is another Toast striped jumper ... Im not too sure, lovely but a bit and heavyweight... Its could be just one of those jumpers that I won't actually wear that much.. 🤔

Nope.Decided that last jumper is going back Toast .. its still £120, so too expensive for a 'just ok' jumper.. I am also sending back the black gathered shoulder tee and the wool tencel top.. So just keeping the scarves so far from Toast themselves . ( but all of the JL things - the Mira, and the two Emma tees ).

@Laska2Meryls - I think that's a good call with the jumper - the shape isn't as good as the Mira
they have the striped tencel in the sale now! And long sleeved Francis tees, and the oversized alpaca cardigan

Saw that Faustina.. I have only ordered the grandad Tee in chalk ( have the black already ) . I had already price matched the red wool tencel top at JL as has previously bought from there (and they had it in the sale for cheaper than they are currently selling at Toast..)
Red Ide PJs are also in sale ( I had the blue for Christmas ) ..

The Taro shirt now in the sale is fab btw, I have that and have worn loads

Did you see that the trailing leaves dress is in the sale? not for me , I dont seem t be wearing dresses ( except the Kin cord one ) at all atm

Hmm, I’ve been looking at this dress since it was added to the website. I love it but I think the colour means I would wear it Autumn/Winter, not spring. And I already have 2 long Toast dresses that I’ve worn twice each since buying them (trailing leaves and the purple and white spotty silk one). I added it to my basket but am hesitant now - just not sure about buying it now so that I can wear it next autumn. I’m in Tier 4 so unlikely to have anywhere to go for a few months yet. Really undecided.

I’ve sat on my hands , they’ve added the Mira cashmere sweater in Papaya, which I liked, but I bought one in the m and S sale and with returning an unsuitable bit of nightwear and one thing and another it cost me £26 😳
I’m trying to wear dresses and skirts some days (even just to go to the PO) always change later into joggers, but it makes you feel you’re getting some wear out of things.

Nabbed a navy ide nightshirt, missed the PJs but nothing else I fancy or if I do not reduced enough

@Countmeout yes, I think for me, wearing ‘proper’ clothes is important and I’ve had plenty of wear out of my denim coat dress/pinafore dresses/Franca dress etc. But dressier things not so much, a lot of the time because there’s so much mud, I don’t want to risk them getting splashed and stained with it.

I have definitely been wearing all my Toast and other good stuff even indoors .
have just packaged things up to go back .. I see that they are back to sending out non-paid return labels again even for Kindred ! ( but its Ok I have some paid ones kept back )

I wonder if Toast are reading this thread: I am sure they are, hence adding a few things to the sale.

The velvet jumpsuit is now in the sale: reduced from £295 to £175. I have been waiting for this but somehow can't quite bring myself to buy it. i think I will hold off and see if it goes down again. I'm not sure how or wear I wil wear it. i have imagined wearing it with DMs on winter walks but it is very muddy here at the moment.

I did add the striped cotton PJs to my basket - now sold out. Also the ruffle hem skirt in breen. I'm not a skirt wearer but fancy this with a toast jumper and boots.

Finally, I have bought the silk dupion ruffle shirt: i won't be able to eat, drink (or move) when I am wearing it as I am so messy. I hope this looks good with the silk culotttes in blue and the gold ones too.

I wore the floral print gathered dress today with an alpaca navy Toast jumper from a couple of years ago and some Blundstone boots. It made the dress look like a lovely tiered skirt. I'm back home after a walk and cooking (another) roast dinnr so the jumper has come off as the house is cozy: love this dress.

@ilovecherries, some very unMumsnetty hugs for you; I really hope you continue to find solace in reading these threads and checking in every now and again. My New Year thoughts are with you. Just to echo everyone else, please don’t forget to invest in yourself with good self-care.

@Zinnia, wow, those green trousers look absolutely super on you; this is why I absolutely love these threads as it’s great for pushing me out of my Toast comfort zone & making me reconsider garments I’d previously discounted and disregarded.

@ToastCosILoveIt, I’ve enjoyed reading your feedback on your lovely haul and I keep eyeing up the tiered dress and wondering how I can make it work for my rural lifestyle.

Anyway, I really pushed the boat out and ordered a hand-marbled notebook that was reduced to £9.

Interestingly, I note that Toast has reinstated my Post Pass express delivery option so maybe I’m back on the Christmas card list! 😅

@ToastCosILoveIt, I do occasionally wonder if anyone from Toast does read these threads and posts (go on, give us a sneaky wave if you do!)

Thanks all for your kind words about the trousers! Agree it's brilliant seeing how different people wear their Toast on these threads.

I might have ordered a jumpsuit in the new sale, though it will have to be amazing to get me to justify keeping it at the price still. I noticed I have the express delivery option back too!

Just had to order the nightshirt again. I’m always a S in Toast nightwear but read the reviews and they come up small! So re-ordered the navy in M and the other colour fell into my basket too

@ToastCosILoveIt, just wanted to let you know that there’s a pair of BNIB Size 5 Toast/Solovair Mary Jane shoes on eBay currently for £75. They are truly glorious shoes and I’m only sorry that they fit my 13-year-old as her new school shoes!

Darn just missed a Kin sweat dress in XS from JL (showed as in stock but oos when i put it in my basket ) . Who of you bought it then !!?
