I have had two emails for my five secret sale items (two orders) and the post office have again said they are going to deliver one of my two other orders (one an archive sale and one a full price order) but they said this yesterday too so let's see. The full price order was made last Friday morning so it's long overdue now. I managed to snaffle the lovely navy fairisle junper that featured in the Times Style magazine a couple of times. It has sold out but a medium miraculously popped up.

laksa I ordered a medium - it is very oversized. I didn't like the dropped shoulders on me. I've sent it back already otherwise I would measure it for you.I
moomin that's a nice dress story. Good to know the smock dress isn't too good as I've been stalking for a return.

I've had a dispatch email for the chalkboard dress so fingers crossed everyone else who ordered it gets it too.

My Kisawa dressing gown (in ochre) has arrived and I'm wearing it right now - love it! I saw the Kisawa nightwear range instore earlier in the year and I loved the pattern, but in the first sale I thought it was still too expensive (£90) so didn't buy it. But it was playing on my mind so when I saw it in the flash sale (still £90) I jumped at the chance. Very glad I did!

Not impressed with Royal Mail though - instead of ringing the doorbell they just squeezed the parcel through the letter box.

I am wearing my Ikat trousers today with a long grey Hush wide top. .. I think they are perfect as lounge wear atm, but not warm enough for winter trousers .. But come spring/early summer they will be good for wearing out

Just used the chat to find out where my missing item was (no refund had been issued)... unsurprisingly they had a ‘stock issue’ when it came to picking my order! they then said they’d process a refund. Not sure why others were refunded straight away but mine wasn’t?! Oh well I’ll save it for the January sale!

I haven’t even pursued the item not on the dispatch email, I assumed it would turn up.
No email for my secret sale items yet, hopefully they’re busy crumpl8ng the trench coat - appears to have been an issue 🤣

@Moomin, I know us friends on this Toast thread won't fall out over some Mary Janes .

I checked my confirmation order for the secret sale: i ordered four things in the first order and one in the second. Just looking at the confirmation of dispatch for the four items and they have only dispatched three of the four and the Mary Janes are the missing item. I have checked Paypal from where I paid) and there is no refund so still holding out hope...

Has anyone ever known anyone who has actually won one of the Toast promotions? .. Do you think anyone actually does ?

I have entered 'Under the tree' every year since they have been doing it , but they never seem to announce any winners .. ( obvs I haven't won anything or any or their other competitions ..

I did though get a surprise gift ( with actual handwritten card!) From John Lewis this week !

On the fourth day of Christmas To-ast sent to me a jumper (likely going back) and trainers with a navy Veeeeee.

Right they’re crumpled the trench coat and it’s on it’s way but the notebook is missing from that order. Just glad it’s not a crumpled notebook and the trench coat missing 😬

Blimey, Laska, I dread to think how much one has to have spent to qualify for a HANDWRITTEN card, plus fancy gift, from JL! Come to think of it, now I’m wondering where my freebie is!

@Countmeout, that sounds like a wonderful job opportunity for someone with a creative bent, I can just picture the advert now: Wanted, artful crumpler, tasks include the creative crimping of fabrics and garments harnessing the ancient Japanese practice of igashiki to achieve a relaxed and zen aesthetic. I’ll be really disappointed if your coat arrives crease-free tomorrow! 😂.

Another dispatch notification: this time for my woollen hot water bottle cover. They’ve clearly been cracking the whip in the packing room today. Only missing my pull-on cord trousers now.

I also received the same gift from John Lewis and felt a little surprised by it. I felt it wasn't appropriate to give unsolicited gifts this year. I don't have young children so have no need for this.
Mine still had a label on saying £6. I wonder how much money John Lewis has spend producing and making these gifts. I have to say I wrote to customer services and politely said that given the current situation in the Uk the money would be better spent as a donation to charity.

Moominmama I send back more to JL than I buy I think!! , I think it must be done by random selection.. Anyway I was actually quite cheered to receive it , it quite made my day !..

@Laska2Meryls - I quite like that funnel neck top - but did you see the review which said it wasn't actually cotton but viscose? Please report back on how it fits in real life

Tried on the cord shirt in 8 and it is huge, but very lovely and luckily not too short for me. Just trying to work out when I could wear it

My official sale stuff (cord dress, cord trousers, cotton/cashmere Alex trousers) is supposed to arrive tomorrow. No word of the olive t-shirt!

@faustina and @Laska2Meryls, I have the funnel neck top in a small and I am a 12. I could probably have got away with the XS. I like it.

Laska I received one a reindeer & card from JL on Monday too! I was very surprised that it was handwritten...Until DH piped up "Not surprised given what you've spent on bed linen & skin care this year" That's lockdown for you. Still, as I pointed out to DH, still very much cheaper than the post-GCSEs Greek Island hopping trip youngest DS & I had planned (& subsequently had to abandon) for this summer.

For those of you with missing items from orders & no refund, it's worth emailing or using their online chat function to check what's actually happening. I'm quite surprised that they didn't automatically email & issue a refund on the OOS item that was missing from my order. I don't think it's good customer service to hang on to payment on the off chance they might get a return without first offering the customer the option to refund immediately.

@ToastCosILoveIt - is it cotton? And how thick - sweatshirt or t-shirt ?

@faustina, more teeshirt than sweatshirt but thick teeshirt. I wore it with a Jigsaw lace vest under. Will pop upstairs in a mo and check the composition.
