Toast always used to do a huge January archive sale online. I wonder if the secret sale was in fact something scheduled for this coming January & was somehow released earlier due to tech glitch? Sincerely hope you are all able to receive your orders wherever they have been confirmed. My dress & blouse are apparently due today now. They’ve inexplicably travelled halfway around the country in a manner not conducive to a quick delivery according to the DHL tracker!

@parttimepunk - I had a dress arrive really crumpled and sent it back in the end to exchange it for an uncrumpled version. It wasn't a sale dress though so you might have a dilemma there

I just went on the online chat function as I've had no despatch email and they confirmed that both my orders (one sale, one secret sale) are currently being packed. I also ordered very shortly after 7am that day!

I hate the packaging. I don’t think it does justice to what’s inside. Zara and Hush pack in recyclable cardboard boxes with paper sealing tape. It makes you feel you’re getting something special.
I did wonder like @EdinaMonsoon if the secret sale was actually stuff for the January sale that a link took you to in error as when @NotAnActualSheep clicked on it.
My full price stuff a few weeks ago took a very long time to be dispatched. I wondered if they had staffing problems due to COVID and being in Wales which was/is/ hard to keep track, locked down/in a circuit breaker / whatever.

Edina good idea about taking a photo. I think the creases will fall out once it's hung in a steamy bathroom. Hopefully that will also freshen it up as it looks like it's been lying in a corner of a stockroom.

I do hope everyone gets their orders. I think Count is right - it's highly likely that the secret sale link was meant for January and was not meant to be "live". I suspect they're now scrabbling round to fulfill orders in a panic. Their mistake though and a discount code should be offered to those of you who've had your orders cancelled.

Totally agree re:packaging, surely it can not be an environmental disaster but still be appropriate to the quality/cost of the pieces ordered.

Just had a notification that my jacket has been sent (from the Archive sale, not the secret sale) - phew. Notanactualsheep don't blame yourself, it was very generous of you to forward the link. Fault lies with Toast for allowing orders to be placed if they subsequently could not honour them. Perhaps we will all get an explanatory email in due course.

And I just got the email for my knitted skirt and Francis t shirt x 3🙄 .
I have not lost faith in the stuff from the secret sale yet.... everything is just soooo slow. And I want that coat and a lovely little notebook.
Still don’t understand the ladies who were cancelled. Has anyone who had a cancellation queried it? (Sorry if I’ve missed that)

Ah no, I was too cynical. Just had despatch notification for my secret sale dress. To be fair, I only ordered it some point mid afternoon on Monday, so they've probably had a lot to pack/ scrumple up til now.

It could well be Jan sale stuff, I suppose, though it was calling itself a mid-season sale, and was definitely late summer/ autumn things rather than what I'd expect in a Jan sale all the party wear they couldn't sell cos there are no parties. Hope they have some of the current stuff in the Jan sale as well, if it was. I can't remember if they actually had a mid season sale around Sept/ Oct? I definitely missed it if they did, though I've lost my clothes mojo for a lot of this year, so I may just not have been interested.

@Countmeout Yes I did query my cancellation, no reply as of yet...

Wool tencel tops (sized up but they are still fitted.. and half sleeve shirt)

Ikat trousers, loose and If they had had smaller ( these are M) but I like them . I may shorten them to mid calf though ..
And spotty pjs ( could have got smaller and may if a return appears, but hey ho they are pjs , will be great for summer campervan trips - ) I cant make them look glam! Also the red felt slippers in first set of photos.

Oooh @Laska2Meryls those stripy tops and slippers are fantastic. I wanted the turquoise stripy top but I just couldn’t afford it after all the Christmas shopping etc. Hopefully there’ll be returns in the next sale though.

Ive just remembered that the pjs are 90!! I have put them back in the bag.. if a smaller pair come back in I may get them but if not I will revisit keeping these ...

I am just about to take the Birkenstock slippers back to the post office.. The red felt ones will do for a while ..

Third dispatch email now so that’s the China blue block stripe tshirt, Indian floral gown and navy Boro scarf coming. Still got the navy pull-on cord trousers, Solovair Mary Jane shoes and, finally, the russet wool hot water bottle to come.
