It seems they’ve really messed this up! I don’t recall this before?
I’m really annoyed though as both the Kala dress and blouse I sent back damaged a few months ago (that they refunded because they said there were none left)....were all in the sale in my sizes Hmm I’ve re ordered the blouse (no dispatch email yet though) but didn’t bother with the dress.
Sorry to those that have had orders cancelled, that sucks.

I ordered dogtooth tapered trousers and was surprised that their website showed them available in all sizes. I wasn't early in the sale, only noticed the email after 9am so perhaps they had a glitch with their website/stock tracking system? Also I had an error when making payment so ended up paying twice through PayPal. One of the payments has been refunded, the other one I'm chasing for a few days now.

@Moomin, i hope we both get them! I have the solovair monk strap shoes in black and the colovair lace ups in browny red so the Mary Janes wil be a nice addition.

Confirmation of dispatch of a bag that i ordered along with the ginger dress, the other three orders later that afternoon stil have no dispatch notices.

During the summer sale I ordered something and they sent me an almost immediate email saying how sorry they were that they couldn't fulfil it - this seems to be a much bigger cockup. how disappointing! I've heard nothing at all - no despatch emails for either order, and no money has been taken from my credit card

I had cause to go to online chat this afternoon ( discovered I had more than one item the same in my basket and paid for could have been me but after reading re all these problems could have been a glitch) but they couldn’t fix it for that order was being packed. Don’t have the email yet for it though. So that’s 2 orders so far seem ok fingers crossed. I wonder what happened. I did my orders shortly after 8. Apart from the secret sale one.
I imagine they’re very busy but no excuse for such a mess of the orders being cancelled. I’m sure you all ordered early.

I had my order cancelled this afternoon - the Clark's shoes... I've asked for a discount code to make up for it. Never happened with Toast before and I've spent a shameful amount lot with them.☹️

I agree, this is not great customer service. All those with a cancelled order should have been offered a 20% voucher automatically but Toast don't seem to value their customers, even ones like us that are spending £100s/£1000s per year. @impressively, let us know how you get on with your request.

Dreadful, what on earth is going wrong? .. I have had dispatch notes for all my 'official' sale orders - 3 orders , all made around 8 - 8.20 am on Monday, nothing yet for the 'secret sale' ones.

My Shearling Birkenstock slippers came to day from Toast.. I am a bit disappointed that they are the narrow fit (this wasnt on the description) .. I will have a stomp around the house in them just to see, but really I think I need the regular ones

Hello all. I used to buy lots from Toast until around 10 years ago but found the quality dipped around that time. Shame as I have jackets, dresses & boots that are older than my youngest child (16) which are still going strong. I've decided to try them again in the hope that they have improved as their style is so perfect for me. Does anyone has the Silk Velvet Dress or have tried it on? I ordered it in the sale on Monday and it was supposed to arrive today but apparently it's stuck in transit. I'm hoping it will sit longer than mid-calf on me (5'6") and that the orange is as subtle as it looks on the photos! I'm now thinking perhaps I should have gone with Caper instead. I also ordered the Kala asymmetric shirt in blue/green. Reminds me of an Isabel Marant piece but at a fraction of the cost.

For those of you saying your orders have been cancelled: where they orders placed via the secret sale or for the A/W Archive Sale? That link doesn't work for me so wondering if it was accessible due to a glitch and they've now shut it down & had to cancel orders?

@Laska2Meryls The Birkenstock shearling slippers generally seem to be a narrow fit for some reason and aren't always listed as such. I only discovered this by perusing the Birkenstock website. My DCs bought me a pair for Mothers Day this year - the Arizona style - and I had to size up by 1.5 size and buy the mens version as the women's style is a narrow fit as standard. Worth checking out their website for their sizing chart, ignoring your actual shoe size and measuring your feet in cm.

I wonder was there a problem between 7 and 8 that morning. Like Laska I ordered after 8. and so far have had one dispatch email, online chat says my second order was in packing ( so couldn’t be amended) , admittedly no sign of third order yet. Also like @Laska2Meryls I check out in bits as I am afraid of things disappearing.

Spoke too soon, I now have a dispatch for the third order (none for second which is the one allegedly in packing) and it is only for one item out of the two I ordered (2 jumpers) but no sign of refund or explanation for jumper not dispatched. Doesn’t say your other item will follow.

Mine are arriving today according to the post office.. I am sensing the Birkenstocks back, disappointed that I cant find the regular in a size 5 anywhere they seem to start from 6.5 up.. I suppose Birkenstock think all women have narrow feet ..

I wonder if it was tech gremlins? They’ve stopped access to the ‘secret sale’ - that link now goes to the main sale and the items aren’t in there. If that makes sense.
If it was tech problems it must be a nightmare to sort it all out!
I’ve also had a dispatch email for half an order.... no news on the other item as yet....

There does seem to be something odd going on at Toast. My order of the wool red/ blue check Franca dress arrived this morning. Delivery was v quick - considering I'm not in the UK - but the dress is a crumpled mess. It was rolled in a ball - no tissue paper - and looks to me like it's been worn before. I'm going to hang it up for a couple of hours to see if that improves the state it's in.

Oh balls. I'm feeling a bit guilty at finding the secret section now Xmas Sad...sorry if I've got anyone's hopes up. It doesn't look as if they actually had those clothes at all. I've not had a dispatch notice for the chalkboard dress, and as you say, it looks like they've shut down the link. Also, sorry Toast for causing your IT folks grief... don't blacklist me please..

Not sure what’s going on - my money’s been taken, I’ve had an ‘order acknowledgment’ email but I haven’t had a dispatch message yet. I hope I get it, my my hopes are fading a little bit.

@parttimepunk - the state of your dress sounds dreadful. I know the plastic-free packaging is a positive but not when things are just scrunched up into the bag. I really really hope that the Toast ethos isn’t being lost now it’s no longer independently owned. It would be horrible if they lose their focus on quality in a race to make more and more profit.

@parttimepunk The state of your dress sounds awful. I would take a quick photo of the state of it just in case you need to return it. You don’t want to be blamed or refused a refund due to the state of the dress.
