I want everything in Massimo Dutti!

It is sooo stylish and chic. I want at least ten of the shirts but at 60 or 70 quid a pop it’s beyond me. And now there’s nowhere to where them anyway...

Oh me too! I have about £800 in my fantasy basket so far. I want the cashmere trousers and oversized sweaters and everything basically

MrsGrindah · 31/10/2020 19:59

I probably also need to lose a stone too.

@MrsGrindah

I probably also need to lose a stone too.
If I make my purchases I'll easily lose way more than a stone as I won't be able to afford to eat for months!

Am so tempted by the trousers.

Svelteinmydreams · 31/10/2020 20:07

Aw, thanks for reminding me of Massimo Dutti. Window shopping on my iPad is my favourite Saturday night activity.
Loving the aqua coloured oversized cashmere jumper.

JaceLancs · 31/10/2020 20:40

I was lucky enough to find massimo dutti cashmere sweaters in 4 different colours in my size for a tenner each in tkmaxx about 6 weeks ago so I bought all 4 plus 2 extra for DD Xmas presents

NomadNoMore · 31/10/2020 20:41

They've been doing 30% off quite regularly this year.

YoureBreakingMyHeartCecilia · 31/10/2020 20:48

Ooooh I love MD... splurged on a turtle neck sweater in Sept but it’s too warm to wear it yet... I too would buy much more from there if I could afford it!

magbob · 31/10/2020 20:48

Always lots for sale in TKMaxx at v low prices.

AmandaHoldensLips · 31/10/2020 20:49

@JaceLancs - that is SO unfair!

BobbinThreadbare123 · 31/10/2020 20:53

Beat me to it! I've found a few Massimo Dutti bits in TK Maxx. Usually tops, but I'll be on the lookout for jumpers when we're allowed back in shops!

CatherineTheNotSoGreat · 31/10/2020 20:55

I love Massimo. They were great last winter too. When I win the lotto I’m buying one of everythingGrin.

They have a velvet puffer that I’m covering so much it’s not good for me Grin

AdoraBell · 31/10/2020 20:56

You’re all bad influences on me I can’t afford their lovely clothes. I will though, soon.

CatherineTheNotSoGreat · 31/10/2020 20:58

Coveting*

TreadSoftlyOnMyDreams · 31/10/2020 21:00

Their returns process is shite. Nothing with the delivery and the website sends you around in circles

JaceLancs · 31/10/2020 21:27

Their leather jackets are amazing

LadyEloise · 31/10/2020 21:34

I too love Massimo Dutti, it's so chic but sadly my body shape needs to change. Sad
The quality isn't great though it looks fab.
I bought a silk blouse and after two washes it was a rag. Not so a silk blouse from Banana Republic

MrsGrindah · 31/10/2020 21:38

I have to say I think the website isn’t very user friendly though.@TreadSoftlyOnMyDreams you have worried me about the returns process..I fear I will be between sizes so likely to have to return stuff if I eventually crack...

MrsGrindah · 31/10/2020 21:42

@Svelteinmydreams That jumper is gorgeous but £££!!!

Recently bought a satin shirt (€69), which I loved. One wash & it is like a rag. Could never wear it again. Shocking quality. Can’t take it back as we’re in lockdown for another month.

Didn’t realise this is quite common with their shirts till I mentioned my experience to a couple of people who stopped buying from them for this reason.

AdoraBell · 01/11/2020 01:21

That’s interesting Damsel, I don’t feel so bad about not being able to afford their stuff now.

ARoseInHarlem · 01/11/2020 01:28

I think they’re owned by the same parent company as Zara? I agree their quality is shite. Some lovely design, everything needs tailoring somewhere or other, and it never washes well. Shame.

Retailqueenie · 01/11/2020 07:28

I’ve bought three of their thick polo neck jumpers this season & they’ve been bloody marvellous! I’ve also got the grey rubberised jeans which fit like a glove.

SpeckledyHen · 01/11/2020 07:40

In my next life I am coming back as a MD model . Imagine getting paid to wear the collection!

Countmeout · 01/11/2020 07:50

Knitwear is lovely. The returns process is just like Zara. I’ve found both quick.

BobbinThreadbare123 · 01/11/2020 08:37

Yeah I'd agree about the quality. I'm happy to pay a tenner for a jersey top of theirs in TKs but not full price stuff off their website.
