Mine :

Had endless blackheads on my nose since I was 12. Nothing works.

Facial hair. Chin. Lip. Now Neck too. Nothing works permanently. Always have at least one hair or bristly feel

Mascara, always end up with, from my right eye, black marks under the eye, eyelashes on that side have gone weird, really long, won't curl.

What do others struggle with.

@EineReiseDurchDieZeit it’s not cheap
Either for a professional to remove them, I briefly thought about going back again but what’s the point?

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 31/10/2020 22:57

I was going for a round next week, probably postponed now, mine is sebaceous hyperplasia, I leave it as long as I can but I am properly covered in really visible areas right now and needs must.

Thin hair. Terribly thin, terribly greasy hair.
It really upsets me.

I have little cuts on either side of my mouth that happen in very cold weather. I used to get an anti fungal cream from the doctor which cleared it up but apparently they don’t prescribe it anymore.
I’ve tried literally every over the counter remedy and nothing helps. I’ve had it now since February. Any ideas?

Theaspidistraiswilting · 31/10/2020 23:06

I get cuts on the edges of my mouth and sudocrem seems to sort them out!

Bridecilla · 31/10/2020 23:06

I have hideously dry skin behind my ears - it's scaley and horrid. I pick / rub at it and need to leave it alone but Blush

I've not been to the hairdressers in yonks because of it

@Turnedouttoes Cuts on side of mouth can be a Vit B deficiency.

floofycroissant · 31/10/2020 23:20

Cowlick fringe, nothing tames it, huge under eye dark circles and really pronounced pores.

I had a similar problem for years, and was eventually prescribed diprosalic ointment which cleared it.

I get this! The only over the counter stuff that has ever helped is this. I find I have to keep using it for about 5 days after I think things are back to normal.

@HappyAnimals

Mine is suddenly bone dry, rough knees. Could strike a match off them
Try using a pumice stone on them and moisturise all the time. It works

Could it be psoriasis? Get your doctor to prescribe Betnovate. It will clear it up

Is it hereditary? A hairdresser will be able to help you get the best out of thin hair.
ImEatingVeryHealthilyOhYes · 31/10/2020 23:36

I use clear mascara for the sticky up hairs.

Am trying my lumea on thread veins but too early to report back

My issue is jowls developing but short of a facelift I don’t think there’s much that can be done. Am about to start collagen powder so fingers crossed for that.

Cuddling57 · 31/10/2020 23:39

For the fine baby hairs sticking out on top of head try a light spray of hairspray on them.
I have bags under my eyes and makeup doesn't work on them.
@Turnedouttoes Cuts on side of mouth can be a Vit B deficiency.
Yeah, try a good Vit B complex supplement.

justilou1 · 01/11/2020 00:18

I know the NHS is shit and kinda busy atm, but if you could get a prescription for Spironolactone, it would help with the greasy hair, the blackheads AND the black hairs as well. It blocks the bastarding hormones that cause the problems. (Your head hair should thicken up a bit too.)

There was a thread on here recently where a lady had a mini facelift for jowls and she had amazing results. It cost around 4K I think. It was a guy in York who did it. She posted before and after photos. I have jowls which I think are ageing. i am seriously considering having it done

No problems. I’m on it myself.

@bananabob

How do you put false eyelashes on? 😭 I've tried and failed for years. I've read various 'how to's' but I still can't do it, somebody must know a secret hack which will make it all fall into place for me!? Grin
Have you trimmed them so they are ever so shorter than your eye? Add a small amount of glue, leave for 30 secs. I normally glue mine, leave to dry whilst I curl my lashes and add a coat of mascara. Use tweezers to hold the outer edge of the strip and then press the false lash as close as possible to your lid. Then use the tweezers to clamp the false strip to your lashes. Use a bit of mascara to blend the two together. You can also get a false lash holder

For me it's my pcos facial hair - chin, neck, boobs and greasy hair. I wax my hair, pluck my boob hairs but the neck is slowly getting worse and I don't know what to use on it! I am starting to lose weight as I've heard that helps so fingers crossed.

toiletpaper · 01/11/2020 01:32

*wax my chin hair that should say
