What the hell to wear for 10 years younger

My mate is getting the ol' treatment from the 10 Years Younger Team.

We're getting filmed next week at her house, drinking wine and chatting.

What will I wear!!!

First of all I decided tartan skirt with jumper and boots, but that looks too much like I'm of to the January Sales. Now thinking black skinny jeans, black high ankle boots and a black jumper.

Although is black ok for TV.

Any thoughts?

Um... because it's fun and exciting! Something different in these shit times! But hey thanks for your input :)

How exciting! (Although I don’t know the programme ). I’d go with something smart casual that you’d wear if you were having drinks at her house anyway, or maybe popping to the local for a few 🥂

When does it get aired? If it's summer you might want to wear something lighter than a jumper and boots

I think jeans and a lovely jumper and flat ankle boots. And then some nice simple
Jewellery. Nothing too busy or
Too try hard - effortless elegance!

Whatever you wear, take an alternative outfit.
When I was on TV, we had to take 2 potential outfits. The production team chose what we were, so we weren't in the same colour as the presenter, or as each other.

I'm hoping to be the glam friend but will prob be the frumpy old one! They'll prob dump my friend and use me! Hahahaha

No idea when it's going to be aired but we're having an all expenses weekend in London for the big reveal at the end of the month!

I suit blue as have blue eyes, but only have one blue jumper! Honestly I'm all of a tizz! No freakin' idea what to wear!

I have to wear heels as the other friend is about 20 million feet tall! I suspect she is the "glam" friend!

Sounds amazing but a bit scary too! Will they do your makeup? If blue brings out the colour in your eyes then definitely wear it!

How exciting! I love the show as well. I’d go for something a bit simpler than what youve got currently. Maybe a midi dress with boots or trainers? Or jeans and a loose cashmere type jumper?

I should maybe mention I'm about 100 years old! This is my "usual" casual style.

A bit retro, a bit shit!! With my 30 year old Matalan skirt .... which I love!!

I don't wear trainers except at the gym. I'm of that age! ;)

Yeah the red shoes aren't great colour for outfit forgotten what heels I have. Haven't worn any since lockdown!! 🙀🙀

Brown could work, or could you ask friends if they have a nude pair of heels you can borrow?

Second outfit with some new white trainers. Sports direct or m&m have cheap but decent ones. Maybe add a denim jacket too.

Second outfit - gorgeous skirt - please don't wear white trainers though - denim jacket would look good though

I think the brown high heeled shoes would go best with it.
