What the hell to wear for 10 years younger

My mate is getting the ol' treatment from the 10 Years Younger Team.

We're getting filmed next week at her house, drinking wine and chatting.

What will I wear!!!

First of all I decided tartan skirt with jumper and boots, but that looks too much like I'm of to the January Sales. Now thinking black skinny jeans, black high ankle boots and a black jumper.

Although is black ok for TV.

Any thoughts?

Oh my bloody god!! My friend will not be my friend after seeing it aired! Let's say I wasn't very complimentary about her! Obviously that's what they want so you can say "Wow amazing transformation" at the end.

It was such a fun day. And we got free coffee and cake at the cafe. What more could you ask? The other "friends" were wearing jeans 🙄

I don't really wear jeans so I felt ok in what I was wearing. Not my bright yellow hair though! But hey ho!

After all the hours of filming it will be interesting to see what 5 second bits they actually use for the show.

We have the "Big Reveal" in London in a couple of weeks so that's something to look forward to.

Honestly, well worth applying to appear. Such fun .... well it is for the friends!!!

The new series will be on Spring 2021 apparently.

I've been watching this years series on My5 - Ten Years Younger in Ten Days. I've cried at all 3 episodes so far. My god what a difference they've made to the participants.

If my mate looks that good I'll be a sobbing wreck. I won't spoil the backstory but blimey does she deserve a break!!

On another note it looks like the friends and family are literally in it for 5 secs!! Oh well at least I got free cake and am looking forward to the trip to London for the "Big Reveal"!

Just a quick update, my friend isn't on until the next "season" so some time in the summer. The all expenses paid weekend in London was a few hours hanging around in a cold mansion! No food or drink out on, although the very kindly let us hang out in the production (?) room so had access to stay hot drinks and snacks.

They ordered a chino was for us early in the evening. Was a long, boring cold day! Although maybe it was different because of lockdown.

I won't spoil the reveal but it wasn't what we were expecting.

Here's what I wore, jeez what was I thinking!!! My bloody yellow lockdown hair!! Obviously took the jacket and hoody off for filing.
