Adding a cable cardigan for sitting outside when DS comes to see us later ( and probably a coat!)

We're back from holiday Today it's back to the usual Saturday morning of DC doing sport so I'm in the car keeping warmish while DD does athletics - she's indoors today and parents aren't allowed in due to Covid restrictions but do have to stay on site which is fair enough. So in the car it is!

I'm wearing my other stories cardigan with an old Boden top - there's a bit of sparkle in the stripe which I like - and an old M&S skirt. Plus cherry red DMs. Feeling nice and autumnal 🍂

I haven't caught up on all the posts yet but can see there are some fab outfits. @Wagsandclaws I love your M&S tunic from your last post - is it this season?

I’m feeling a bit sorry for myself. I hate the clocks going back, and I can’t even mitigate by being out of the country this year .

Sorry you're not feeling great @OublietteBravo. Forgive me if you've already tried this but my DH absolutely loathes it when the clocks go back (I'm the opposite and love it) and he finds sitting in front of a SAD light box for half an hour or so a day really helps the transition to dark evenings etc.

Took DS into town for new shoes this morning. Quiet weekend otherwise, I think.

@Sickoffamilydrama I agree with @lepardprint that those jeans are very flattering - I should branch out from skinnies and mom jeans, but bootcut and flares remind me so much of my teenage years I can't quite bring myself to!

I'm staying at my mum's this weekend; they only moved recently so it's pretty chaotic. I’ve been helping to move wardrobes around this morning!

We're off for lunch in a bit. Topshop mom jeans and jumper from &Other Stories.

I’m a big advocate of SAD lights too @OublietteBravo, @toastfiend - got one a few years ago and it defo helps. And I’m in Scotland where it is already really bloomin dark!

Thanks for the jeans love all. I'm a slightly overweight hourglass and jeans never fit on my hips and my waist often when they do fit on the hips they are often huge on the legs.

I never got SAD when I had horses @OublietteBravo because you are forced to be outside in all weathers I think an hour outside everyday does really help not that I'm very good at doing it myself 😉

@Sickoffamilydrama I've got three at home and you are right you have no choice but to get the job done every day ( which is why I don't go on holiday ) today has been particularly crap and I've got very very wet!

Ahh the clocks changed! God I hate that. Buggers up all DDs routines for a good ( bad) week or more and the animals stare at me reproachfully at what they think is mealtime.

So I still haven’t found the energy to swap winter clothes in but managed to find these. Been looking at new thermal vests as I realised my old set is 25 years old

Lovely horses @wagsandclaws. I'm starting to toy with the idea of looking for another next summer but still a bit unsure if I can justify the time and financial commitment. I sold my young ex-racehorse back in July and really miss it, but the difference in disposable income and time has been undeniably pleasant!

@Eaumyword that's great! It's such a lovely jumper, I'm really pleased with mine. I've only a few things from Monki but been happy with the quality. It's kind of a more youthful Cos, they have some great stuff. I hope you like yours.

It’s Monday, so I’m back in office wear (even though I’ve not set foot in the office for 32 weeks).

Another day for the dungarees, so comfy and I can take them off without undoing anything ( so maybe they are too big?)
Excuse mess, I'm still not well enough for any kind of bending over /tidying etc.
