I have a Sniph monthly subscription and am excited to see that calendar. They send you a monthly sample according to your preferences (15ml so a really decent amount) and they are usually pretty high end scents.

DD had Bomb last year and really liked it.

This year I've bought this which looks really pretty and is reusable. My daughter will enjoy making a village!

Fenwick now have a beauty bag GWP for £125+ spend - works with the advent calendar, should anyone be thinking about that one. (I’ve only loaded the calendar into my basket to see if the gift came up - it did - so now I have to sit on my hands and resist checking out 😂)

Argh! I received the Fenwick calendar just this morning. They couldn’t have done the GWP a couple of days ago? Bastards.

I ordered the Bomb Cosmetics one a few years ago for my daughter and the few bath bombs that were in it were very small and a lot were difficult to get out. From what I remember, there were mainly bars of soap.

Yes that’s why I’d get the 12 day or tinsel my fancy one for myself as they have full size bath bombs. I’m sure the cheaper ones would be great for children though.

Yes, my daughter was very happy but they were on the small side.

I'm getting her the Harry Potter one from Boots this year.

I got an email from LF. They are starting to ship calendars on the 12th. They said it could take up to 4 weeks though due to volumes.

Ooooh, the Fenwick tip is really tempting me for a second calendar. I was leaning hard towards the Lancome parisian city one at Selfridges just because it looks so lovely and unique.

Some places like Harvey Nichols, Space NK and others do gifts with purchase. It's usually a gift you get when you spend £X and sometimes this includes spend on an advent calendar

I have two AC. I bought the H & B one then a big parcel came a few days ago. Addressed to me but ordered by dh. He said open now. It was the Macmillan AC from Boots. I said, rather sheepishly, that I already had one as I had bought the H&B one as a present to myself for doing all the Christmas prep. Should I send it back? Trooper DH said no, that new one is my present to you for doing Christmas .

I'm waiting to order my stuff from M&S to get the beauty box too.

You lot are a bad influence. I bought the Marks one last year because of threads like this, my first non chocolate, non picture calendar and then this year I have two!

I also got the Formula box half price last year. Oops.

@AsPerMyLastEmail - this thread has been very enabling (H&B + Lumene for me) so I thought I should reciprocate 😊. I’m still trying to resist Fenwick though.......
@Talisin - really annoying that Fenwick didn’t (as far as I know) give any indication that a GWP was on the way. I found out via their email this morning. Most of the other companies that do these GWPs (thinking of a liberty, HN and Space NK off the top of my head) give at least a day or two notice that the gift is coming. Bad show Fenwick!

Well, I got lucky with the Lumene + birthday bag + 21% off coupon.
Now thinking I'll cave and get lucky with Fenwick + GWP ...

@Mummyonline hopefully it’ll be ok for them as they don’t have massively long baths. Weirdly my 7 year old loves a bar of soap. I think it’s the novelty of it

I'm looking at the Fenwick one as well!! I couldn't get that and CB. And many of the Fenwick items are familiar whereas CB are mainly new.

I was checking the details of the GWP and what's pictured doesn't seem to be the same as the wording. I see a Dermalogica something and a REN and Cauldilie (so?) and Kiehl’s. But they aren't listed...???

In fact, looking again, they really don't appear to be the same.

Yes, that’s weird @PrincessWatermelon - email I had shows the pic just posted by @stepmotherofone and lists those items, so I assume that is what will be sent out? Maybe the gift that shows added to baskets is a previous one they’ve not updated? (I’m still holding strong here - afraid I might cave if the gift is still showing tomorrow. I think I need a calendar/GWP detox 😂
