Please would someone be so kind and put me out of my misery?

I keep reading GWP, I know if stands for gift with purchase but is the calendar the gift when you buy something else or does it mean something different ?

Some places like Harvey Nichols, Space NK and others do gifts with purchase. It's usually a gift you get when you spend £X and sometimes this includes spend on an advent calendar

Debenhams aren't doing an advent this year. I heard it on the Cosmetopia Digest YouTube. But Grazia will be doing a 12 days of Christmas advent with Glossybox. Worth £530 and released on.23rd October. It's on the GB Instagram. Just adding it to the mix! Get ready to Google, obsess and spend. ( Or is that just me? 😉)

carole Beer 52 and Flavourly have quite a few flash sales so could be worth looking up? Then just wrap them. Like the idea of a DIY beer calendar!

Thanks for these suggestions. DS and I have agreed to do a DIY advent calendar for DH (in the box my advent calendar came in!) so these will be perfect.

I've found my people -

I had terrible trouble with the liberty website this morning I got all the way through to ordering and then it was showing out of stock - so I popped off and ordered the space nk one....

Then I realised that the liberty one was showing back in stock so I've ordered that too... but I didn't get a confirmation email and the pay pal didn't come out. So I've ordered another I'm really hoping I don't end up with two! I have emailed customer services but it seems like a shambles today.

Secretly pleased I can have both of liberty and space nk it will be a lovely treat.

OchonAgusOchonO Lumene is lovely. I've had it for the last two years and really enjoyed the products.

Should I go for big or small Rituals?

Up to you, but I went for small Rituals and am so happy I did. I think the main difference is a more beautiful display box and perfumes included in the more expensive one, but I'm really fussy about my favourite scents and not bothered about the box so I wanted the cheaper one!
The cheaper one still looks amazingly luxe, so I think you'll be happy whatever you decide!

Can someone please buy this so I can lust after it? I can't justify £400 this year when really I want (need) just one perfume. I love a acqua di parma (particularly the Rose) I would love this so much.

I cannot believe M&S and Debenhams are not doing calendars this year - they are missing out on a lot of repeat custom. We need even more cheer during December this year.

I think it's odd they're not doing them as I'd expect them to sell well as people want cheering up and will have saved money from things we can't do

Debenhams is really struggling at the moment. They must have decided that it wasn't worth it. It was available half price last year. Selfridge's has been released today. It's very nice and contains some perfumes which is great. I think it's s shame there is no scent in Space NK. They sell plenty on their site. Selfridges' has some of the usual suspects but also lots of really lovely items. It's £200 but at that price I'd have to really love it.

The Acqua di Parma one looks lush! I love the fragrances too, my DH wears them. I have to say I’ve converted to Le Labo though from the Liberty calendars of recent years!

I’ve just had an email to say Selfridges AC is out. The contents are distinctly underwhelming though for £210 - lots of mid range stuff like Pixi, Ordinary, Morphe etc that doesn’t justify the price IMO.

I've been lurking on this thread for ages and tried to get the H&B calendar after reading so many positive comments. It was always sold out so I gave up on the idea of having one as I can't afford a more expensive one. Anyway, after seeing this thread pop up again, I checked and they're back in stock and I got one! So happy!!

It’s a good job there isn’t an M&S calendar this year

They sold them for a low price and judging by posts on here many people returned the items they’d bought to qualify so that could be part of it. Or it could be a supply issue. Strange they haven’t commented on it though as they were very popular.

Just got an email from feel unique saying my lumene calendar plus beauty bag has been delayed.

Must be all of us buying it at the same time overwhelming their system

I’ve had the same and also thought of this thread

M&S could have just done their calendar at a higher price and not require a purchase to buy it and it still would have brought traffic to the shop and website

I don't think I'd have got it again though

Then again it was a good price if you were shopping there anyway
