Hello, first timer on this thread, can any of you knowledgeable ladies please recommend a perfume in the same vein as Jo Malone Sea Salt and Sage but which lasts a bit longer?

I always find the JM fragrances disappear too quickly :( and the PP dupes always seem "synthetic" to me

@Savvy7 Jenny Glow do one similar and it's long lasting & stronger. Its very inexpensive & worth a try.
Alternatively look at Fragantica. If you type in the perfume you're interested in other perfumes in the same vein will appear as you scroll down.

Kerosene Walk The Sea and MMM Beach Walk are similar and both are EDP strength.

My SOTD is Air du Rien, which arrived this morning and is just divine. I'm already worrying about where to get a new bottle and I've only just opened this one.

Has L'Air du Rien been discontinued?!! @thecatfromjapan I was just about to reply and say "they wouldn't dare" but there is no trace of it anywhere on the Miller Harris website. It's widely available from other stockists, but I get the impression that will be that when they've all gone.

I'm baffled really as they relaunched it in 2016. It's a cult classic. I guess it just wasn't selling. Also Chanel Cristalle has been discontinued and I never thought that would happen.

@Bee0808 I've got SOTD and PP but I can't figure out what BTF is? I'm sure I'll kick myself when you tell me.

Sotd is Ffern Summer 19 for a mild sunny day. I needed to take Ds for a blood test, without overpowering the nurse.

There's a couple of interesting perfumes in at Tk Maxx online. Miller Harris Sublime Blossom and Omorivzka ( sp!) Gabrielle.
I'm trying to resist temptation though rather tempted by the sound of the latter, as my success strike rate of new perfumes is about 1/10 and I'm tired of selling them on.

@Bee the Bloom Green sample packs are brill. I found a few loves from the pack a couple of years ago. I also found the Frankincense & Myrrh set fascinating.

Aha! I haven't actually tried BTF. Am I still allowed on here?

MissBattleaxe, lapsed member here, but on your say so, I got the new sample set from Gallivant, and have finally settled on Bukhara (FB). It's my first FB in about three years and even my sample habit has been toned down! Tough choice because I like almost all their scents enough to want them.

DH hates By the Fireplace, although I quite like it for winter evenings.

Oh @XingMing Bukhara is my favourite! Great choice. That iris is just so classy and beautiful.

It is lovely... I'm itching to get my hands on the bottle. Although, boo hoo, I also ordered an oil roller of London (because I couldn't justify two FBs) and it's sold out, with no more to come. SO I shall probably succumb in a month or two. I have another sample spray to eke out in the meantime. Interesting back and forth with the founder, who worked with J-CE in days past, and I am a total J-CE fangirl.

I got a sample off someone in the Facebook group in return for a charity donation and initially it was very lavender and not my thing but it's now smelling much nicer. Pleased to have a small bit to try, not sure I want a full bottle.

I am making a note of all these salty perfumes to maybe treat myself in the summer

What do people think of Lush perfumes? I managed to find a couple in the sale thinking I could send them back if I hated them, but I think they're actually good. Unconventional and long lasting, a bit 'rough and ready' but overall I'm pleasantly surprised!

@XingMing yes, Nick is lovely and was with L'Artisan Parfumeur for years before he started Gallivant.

@RazorstormUnicorn I love Tart's Knicker Drawer. It just seems to go with everything - nights out, school run, pyjamas.

@UselessCat There are many Lush perfumes that I really love, but a few years back there was a Gorilla collection that I disliked intensely! However, since then, I have fallen in love with Frangipani, Sappho, Confetti, Pansy , Orange Blossom and Mesmerize.

Simon Constantine of Lush has just started his own collection called And (with a little circle on top of the A). They are super ethical and vegan and they smell incredible. There's a Discovery Set too.

Can't stand any lush scents. Bleurgh. Agree those gorilla perfumes were rank missb
I don't shop there anymore though so its not an issue :)

Can't wait for my bottle of a walk in the forest to arrive!

I really dislike Lush perfumes too. Some of the 4160 perfumes are reminiscent of them. I believe Sarah McCartney used to work at Lush before setting up her own perfumery and the influence still appears to be there.
