I did notice that the instructions said to shake well before using, now I know why!

I have loved this calendar - I think it has been better than the M&S one. I am going to rebuy the glorious rose toner/serum - it is lovely. I also love the rose night cream. Like others, I found the face scrub wildly messy but my face did look radiant afterwards, so I will brave it again.

It has been a wee gleam of joy in an otherwise v difficult festive period.

Woops I used the mousse as a face wash. Not sure why i thought it was to wash with rather than a face cream. It's a lovely texture.
Ive not used the face scrub but will be sure to squeeze it 1st!!

Ill definitely be getting another H&B next year. Excellent value. Does anyone know when they normally 1st go on sale?

Omg lamplue, I've just cried laughing reading that! I used it this morning and can well imagine it looking like explosive diarrhoea when smeared all over!

@plump82, this went on sale in mid-Sept. It sold out very quickly but then they got more stock in. You could add yourself to a mailing list this year so you got alerted as soon as it went on sale so it'd be worth watching out for that again

@Plump82 I didn't get the calendar straight away when it came for sale. I was waiting that there would be a code and I would get the price reduced. I was in two minds if I would get it so I afforded to wait. Not so sure how long I dare to wait next year because I think I will want this one again.

I never got it the 1st time and also never got the email to say it was back in stock. It was just by chance thay i checked a 3rd time and saw it was available.

I loved this calendar but will not miss those little square tabs all over my floor. Great value for money I thought although there are lots of things I won't use I still loved the ritual of it all.

Hi everyone

I've been lurking on this thread as I had the advent calendar this year - first time getting one and I absolutely loved it!

I love the coffee face scrub probably the most (and the toner in the beautiful glass bottle), but wondered if anyone else is a bit worried about where all those coffee granules are going? I am meticulous about chucking my used coffee grains over the garden or down the toilet to stop the drains getting clogged up, however there's obviously no way of doing this in the shower! Has anyone got any ideas?! I love it and can see myself using it for the long term, but not if it's going to clog the drains

I don't think the relatively small amount of grounds in one use of the face scrub will block the drains - it's no different to any face scrub really and the water companies haven't complained about scrub particles yet, as far as I'm aware
