Thread for discussing the contents of the lovely Holland & Barrett 2020 advent calendar.

Please - no spoilers! Can we agree not to give away what's behind each door before that day?

No, we can talk about the contents on that day...just no discussing 2nd Dec on 1st Dec etc.

Personally, I like to look at the contents before I buy so I know if it's going to be good value and have things that I want...but then I try desperately to forget them, so I get a little surprise each day.

However, I know that some people open the whole calendar as soon as they get them, or open in advance in December and I'd just ask them not post the contents on this thread if they decide to do that. Smile

I filled in my details for an alert and heard nothing . I was asking DH to check ( the Release date was given on a couple of sites but not correct ) .

Website said today "Coming Soon" DH got an email alert !
Managed to order one .

Are they available in-store ?

I always follow the M&S Threads but I haven't ever bought one

Oh no! I had an alert set but busy day at work! Alert came at 11.30 am today and it's sold out already. Really gutted, wanted one for me and my sis.

Wow. I never realised they sold out so quickly. Luckily I was sat at the laptop when the email came but another day I would have been out of luck. Last year I was bad and opened it all in one go. Not sure I will be any better this time.

Following too. Ordered mine yesterday. I did get the email alert and bought straight away. I had a few last year, M&S, Lumiere, Rituals and H&B was by far the best and cheapest. It was £30 last year too I think. They've increased the £ due to all the rave reviews!! For those who missed out I remember my local store got a few in to sell. Perhaps pop in and see if they'll hold you one if they come in. You never know...

I was at work when the email came through, luckily DH was on a rest day yesterday so I messaged him all the details and he managed to get me one. Even got a pound off as I had a coupon on the loyalty scheme.

I’m relatively new to beauty advent calendars - had the amazon one last year which was ok. Sounds like I was lucky to get one.

It’s just been such a crappy year I decided we were all having a really decent advent calendar each this year. DH has pre-ordered the Brewdog one, DD has the Harry Potter infinity one coming today. Just need ones for the animals now and we’re all sorted.

I’m really looking forward to the H&B calendar- it looks lovely. Roll on December!

Mine arrived today! Bit disappointed it was quite damaged during transit and I can see some of the products through the doors. Trying not to peek!

So first impressions are that I preferred last year's packaging as it protected the contents better!

Oh dear Glass! Mine was supposed to be delivered today but according to the Hermes site, they haven't picked it up yet, which is a bit worrying Confused

I ordered mine on Friday morning, not long after I received their email, and they haven't dispatched it yet!

Did you ask for delivery today? I chose a specific day as it was still free, and I want it ASAP. I don't mind it being late really, as long as I get it...starting to worry that they've lost it.

I had next day delivery for mine but didn't get a despatch notification from H&B - just an email from Hermes.
