Shiny new plus size fashion / what are you wearing today thread - Autumn Winter edition

Hello!

Following on from the previous, lovely thread, which saw me through Spring / Summer.

For sharing plus size fashion / outfits and general shopping chat.

Old faces and new, all very welcome .

One of my favourite things about dressing to suit myself is that I no longer have to pretend to like skinny jeans! What I really want is to get a pair of big old flares and wear them with platform boots, but I don't know if I'm brave enough. Topshop have some stiff, high-waisted 90s style flares... should I do it?

I absolutely love the seventies full flared jeans at the moment. If I was taller I would def get a pair- they are fab.

However- I am 5'3" which means the petite jeans are too short and the regular are too long. Maybe I could take them up.

@sonjadog love the HB skirt. I have a few similar but I rarely wear skirts simply because I sit down all day and I don't find it comfy.

Today I'm in my Mary getup (because it reminds me of stuff that Mary wears from Gogglebox)

Dress from Tesco with modified neckline as it was a slash neck and I can't abide stuff touching my neck.

My fashion choices at the moment are mostly "Which top should I wear with the mom jeans?" because I'm trying to break them in. It's been such a long time since I had any jeans with no elastane in them that I forgot you had to do that. Anyway, today's pairing is a sort of aertex jumper, and I'll probably wear my trainers and waterproofs over the top when I go out.

Am going out out later, but we're heading to the bar early and then retiring at a sensible 7pm to go to a friends house to continue the partay, so I'm dressed already.
Hell Bunny dress thats a few years old with a collectif cardi and an ivory palm tree brooch.
I'm not sure what I'll put on the feet but sensible boots probably as I'll have to walk back from friends house at unreasonable hour.

I wish F&F did online sales...

I bought some Tu ponte leggings and was about to order some more in preparation for another possible stint of wfh but they're all out of stock. Dammit.

Anyway. Housework today. Said Tu leggings and my "Jo Swinson" top which was about a fiver in the Simply Be sale. I'm guessing Jo's was considerably more expensive and suffice to say "she wore it better"

today i am wearing, a yellow tartan skirt, a black t-shirt with a bright pink unicorn on it saying I WILL CUT YOU and a long sleeve black cardigan with black opaque snag tights ( best tights ive ever had, actually fit and dont roll down) I had on burgundy sequin hi top converse earlier but am now in sliver sparkly slippers

i really need to buy new pjs but ugh, primark is a long walk for me (i have a disability that means i cant walk unaided so use crutches or a wheelchair) and the shop is so badly laid out if you arent 100% mobile

Do we have to be stylish and fashionable to join?

I just got these trainers today and I love them! Dunno if they'll get me barred tho.

Fashionable definitely not a requirement 😂

@sugarbum I absolutely love the dress and cardy combo- I wear a lot of dresses too. I think they are flattering. You look fab!

You don't have to be anything @ComeOnBabyPopMyBubble - just have to like clothes in whatever style you choose. I like the shoes!

Black skinnies from Marks and a coral t shirt from white stuff today. With neon orange lipstick!

Forgot pic. Am also wearing one of those Marks bralette things everyone was in about. I am a 32H and I got a 14 which fits by some bloody miracle. Support isn't like a normal bra but it's nice for bobbling about the house in, which I'm doing a lot of at the moment!

Hi all. Have fully embraced autumn today and jump straight to woollens excuse the random clump of hair on my shoulder - didn't get it out of the way in time.

Dress is an ancient one from Next which does sterling service every year (pretty sure it used to be a foot longer) but my favourite thing is last year's fake leather jacket from Wallis.

I'm not fashionable 😂. I've spent the last 10 years trying to avoid skinny jeans, and the only reason I'm vaguely on trend at the moment is that the shape that suits me happens to be "in". I'm definitely going to get myself some flares after payday though!

Today has been a staying in and crafting day, so I've just gone for comfort. I love a baggy hoody for sitting at home being creative.

Does anyone have any longline tshirts they'd recommend? I bought some from Evans but the quality was shocking and they shrunk/developed holes very quickly!

@ComeOnBabyPopMyBubble (brilliant name btw!) No idea what I paid, but I had a quick look at the Wallis website and they have v similar ones on sale (in fact I think the ones they have now are a nicer shape).

Can't be arsed today. Son missed his train because he wouldn't get out of bed. I refused to give him a lift to school on principle (and also, it takes out an hour and a quarter of my day and costs loads in petrol when he has a perfectly good train ticket), so I hope he got told off by his form tutor.

M&S wide jeggings are my comfy go-to. Plus tunic from edinburgh woolen mill.

Everyone is looking fab, sorry I've gone a bit AWOL. Truth is my bedroom is too messy to take any pics in :p

This weekend’s dungarees and today’s pinafore. I haven’t been wearing those sandals all day, I just put them on to go to the bins and took the photo on the way back in.

Evening. Skirt was I think from Debenhams. It was less than a tenner in a sale. Cardigan from M&S. Boots from Simply Be.

Me again.

Sweater from Tu this year. Skirt (with pockets natch) from Monsoon last year. Cat from New Moon Rescue this year.

(The cat doesn't actually have googly eyes!)

A blue polo shirt which was my aunts and red/black lace look trousers - Bob Mackie from QVC. I know they don't exactly go together but I cannot afford to do a laundry wash yet. I have at least two bagfuls waiting!

God knows what I will wear tomorrow!!
