Are these nice or hideous?

these

For wearing with dresses and winter clothes?

Clearly I’m not feeling decisive!

OP posts:
InFiveMins · 07/09/2020 20:05

I like them.

CaMePlaitPas · 07/09/2020 20:06

I like them OP!

Pinkshrimp · 07/09/2020 20:11

Hideous.
They look like something an arthritic old man would wear, who needs the zip because he can no longer do laces.

Minimumstandard · 07/09/2020 20:11

Not fond, sorry.

Lulu1919 · 07/09/2020 20:15

I wouldn't ....

SentientAndCognisant · 07/09/2020 20:19

Ghastly, sorry

Holothane · 07/09/2020 20:20

With jeans only.

Bunionbandit · 07/09/2020 20:21

Awful

NameChange84 · 07/09/2020 20:24

Nope.

Nope, nope, nope, nope, nope.

AWFUL.

joystir59 · 07/09/2020 20:26

I'm 62 and think these are too frumpy looking, sorry. I think proper walking boots would be more cool than these

PeaceLoveAndCandy · 07/09/2020 20:27

Those are terrible but there are some lovely shoes on that website, and Pikolinos are ridiculously comfortable and well made.

DianaT1969 · 07/09/2020 21:02

Definitely not. Irritating website too. That company doesn't deserve anybody to shop with them.

Londoner99 · 07/09/2020 21:07

No!

CherryPavlova · 07/09/2020 21:08

I like them.

WineGetsMeThroughIt · 07/09/2020 21:17

Sorry OP but those are hideous. If I saw someone wearing those I'd also assume they wear socks with their Birkenstock's too

Palavah · 07/09/2020 21:18

They look like orthapaedic footwear

hastingsmua1 · 07/09/2020 21:20

My thoughts are, these are an unattractive pair of boots and I’m almost shocked that someone wants to purchase them full stop, let alone for over £100. For that price I’d rather buy a pair of dr martens as at least they would look good with the majority of your outfits, whereas these boots could be hit or miss.

hastingsmua1 · 07/09/2020 21:24

Having said that, the burgundy variant looks better.

It looks cleaner as the colour palette isn’t as busy; the silver hardware looks crisp; the shoes themselves look fresh - the beige pair already look worn out due to the patina

stickygotstuck · 07/09/2020 21:25

Love them!

I have had several pairs of that brand. Comfortable, well made, and with an understated 'stand out from the crowd' vibe.

They would not be worn by the type of person who wears impractical but trendy coats in winter Wink.

dudsville · 07/09/2020 21:40

They're funky and not mainstream!

IWouldLikeToKnow · 07/09/2020 21:44

There are some lovely Chelsea boots there

SBTLove · 07/09/2020 21:46

Not with a dress, very much like sensible boots for a pensioner.

Standrewsschool · 07/09/2020 21:47

Yes with jeans. Not with dresses.

LilyLongJohn · 07/09/2020 21:49

I like them lots!

Lottapianos · 07/09/2020 21:50

As you can see, very mixed views! The thing is OP, if you love them, get them. No matter what you wear, some people will adore it, some will loathe it, the vast majority wont even notice. So please yourself. I would absolutely wear those boots with trousers, dresses and skirts, and I think they look fab and dead comfy. We dont all need to have the same style
