Are these nice or hideous?

these

For wearing with dresses and winter clothes?

Clearly I’m not feeling decisive!

I think the zips are putting me off. Agree with PP that jeans would work better. Dresses need a bit more chunk in the sole to offset, or something smaller. These are a bit of a halfway house. In my opinion, anyway. They'd look weird on me coz I have big calves so I might be biased on that front.

Ruthietuthie · 07/09/2020 19:05

I LOVE them. Might order some myself...

Bluefargo · 07/09/2020 19:05

I like them!

MozzchopsThirty · 07/09/2020 19:11

Nasty old lady boots

dollypartonscoat · 07/09/2020 19:11

No

Neveranynamesleft · 07/09/2020 19:12

Skirts / dresses no .....jeans yes

msgloria · 07/09/2020 19:18

Just looked on the site and I love the Chelsea boots

Porcupine83 · 07/09/2020 19:19

I really like the general idea of them, just not keen on the zips for some reason

LouisBalfour · 07/09/2020 19:21

They are really terrible.

cinders222 · 07/09/2020 19:24

I like them

jeff1965 · 07/09/2020 19:24

Nice

SpeedofaSloth · 07/09/2020 19:25

I like them Smile

ShyTown · 07/09/2020 19:25

At a push they’re ok to wear with jeans for a walk in a functional sort of way but they’d look hideous with dresses.

12309845653ghydrvj · 07/09/2020 19:26

Sorry OP, hideous!

BewareTheBeardedDragon · 07/09/2020 19:27

They are awful - but there are some v nice boots elsewhere on the site. The cream doc martin-a-likes for instance.

ApolloandDaphne · 07/09/2020 19:27

My DM would love them, but she is almost 80. I don't like them at all.

f83mx · 07/09/2020 19:38

I’d like with skinny or roll up jeans but not for skirts / dress

Goatinthegarden · 07/09/2020 19:41

Not my taste at all, but I wouldn’t look twice if you were wearing them with casual trousers. They look pretty comfortable.

I can’t imagine them looking at all nice with a dress.

PickAChew · 07/09/2020 19:47

I'm all for comfort but everything about them is a bit wrong.

MoltonSilver · 07/09/2020 19:54

Some people could make them work. I couldn't. They do look comfortable.

Terralee · 07/09/2020 19:57

No just no.

FUTeams · 07/09/2020 19:57

I like them too!

VaggieMight · 07/09/2020 19:57

They could look ok with jeans, but definitely not a dress, and I wear flat boots with dresses. Only Chelsea boots though.

Peachy1381 · 07/09/2020 19:58

frumpy.... it would be a no from me but probably very comfy

SpectacledWolf · 07/09/2020 20:00

I like the concept - flat hiker-style boots - but they look a strange shape somehow.

They're in the same vein as my Fly Malu boots here

Which I wear with rolled up jeans and also with dresses.
