Yes. Exactly that on me too. Mine got returned. I dont get the positive reviews on Toast either. I think they looked awful. I was thinking it might have been my body shape!

oh I'm so sad not to see pics - it was one of the things I was tempted to order. I've emailed Toast about the crumpled cord - I notice quite a few reviews mention how creased some things are this season

I agree with @Yorkshirelass04 and @neveradullmoment99 about the culottes. I thought they were terrible. Too baggy at the front while being quite neat on the bum, and the fabric hung and gathered in weird ways between the legs. I love a good culotte, but I don’t know what happened in the design of these...not good at all.

On the plus side I have money to spend on something else lovely 😊

Are these the check cashmere/cotton culottes?
I got mine instore, before they went online ( have name changed)and they are absolutely beautiful, non creased and not baggy at all.
The fabric is so soft.
I am tall and long waisted though so I do think it depends on your body shape.

@SewingBeeAddict - would you feel comfortable/be kind enough to post a pic of them on? I'd be so grateful - I find it impossible to judge from the Toast photo

Aaah yes different culottes ! Yes lovely fabric but very wierd shaping at the front @faustina really sorry but Im not comfortable posting pics . Interesting Ive read the reviews which all state they are not really autumn/winter weight. I would agree with this and plan to wear them on cooler summer days.

oh - it's ok @SewingBeeAddict - perhaps I'll manage to get to a Toast one of these days. It is interesting about the weight though - they'd be something I'd want for the Autumn - thanks!

I have the check dress in the same fabric but can layer up with tights and a cardi.

Am stalking the fair isle / chevron yoke sweater on eBay - so far one has eluded me, but onwards... there’s another one! Meanwhile, I grabbed an imperfect wool/cotton sweater in red - it has a small hole which I know I can invisibly mend. A bargain is a bargain, even when ‘one in, one out’ is more like 15 out, 5 in at the moment.

Did you see that the fair isle yoke sweater on toast now comes in blue and red ?.. Really nice...

My 'Sali Hughes' jumper has now been dispatched, so hopefully that will be here by the weekend.. Oat Graphic one is due tomorrow..

I sent back the John Lewis dress today - it was a perfect fit in an 8 but I couldn't think when I'd wear it -

and the Toast corduroy tunic dress... I exchanged a few emails with their customer services about the state it turned up in and they finally agreed to send me another (the very last size 8) - express shipping - and the nicest thing was they didn't wait to receive the first one back - I only posted it this afternoon! I have had arguments about them not doing that in the past so I was very pleased!

Faustina n9 they are these And/or boots sadly only sz 3 left in, but mine are from last year.
I did dig out some vv old high Peter Jones boots recently though they have a heel and slightly square toes but .. I think they have come back into fashion after all this time. I bought them in the 90s !!

I have the Sali jumper! And I'm very obsessed! Will post a pic tomorrow
