Are we thinking there might be a mid season sale soon? There’s a lot of lightweight stuff on the website and I’m sure few of us are going on a warm holiday soon. I was surprised it wasn’t reduced already.

I’m wondering about a sale too - trying to weigh up whether the things I want (2, totalling £345 😬) are likely to be reduced. V difficult to tell, especially as I wonder if their stock levels have been impacted by COVID. Just a little discount code would do, but Toast are being very tight..,

Wool neat cardigan - warning.

Last year i bought this in Jade in the sale for £45. It has bobbled like crazy from 1st wear. All over the arms, all over the back and front. Frankly it looks dreadful and i only wear it indoors. As i live Abroad I couldn't face the phaff of sending it back. Beautiful green colour though, looks great with denim.

Oh dear. I have this in red and mine has bobbled a bit but nothing like that. That is really bad.

For your amusement... the green check dress ... is going back. I quite like the way the skirt sticks out, but the top half is very big and unflattering, and the fabric isn't great

the khaki dress the stylist recommended is actually a lot nicer than I thought it might be - it's way too big so have ordered a smaller size to try. it isn't really the kind of dress I had in mind though..

still waiting for the pinafore and the corduroy dress which arrive tomorrow . I also noticed this designer - Justine Tabak. Has anyone ever ordered from her? The dresses are a bit pricey but I really like them!

Well my cunning plan following the Kala dress upset hasn’t worked 😂
Today the green check dress arrived and the Lexi culottes. Much as @faustina has said the fabric isn’t great... I expected a heavier almost brushed cotton, or just a heavy cotton.... it’s thin and the check isn’t as nice as it looks online... IMO.
The Lexi culottes are a beautiful colour and the fabric is lovely too... they are just to voluminous for me. Great fit otherwise, it’s the style that’s not right on me. My Seasalt cropped corduroy culottes are much more flattering and much cheaper!
So back they go..... think I need a Toast break. Will probably wait for the next sale now. I’ve scratched all my itches Grin

I saw the green check dress in a rl shop. It's a lovely but slightly 'difficult ' colour I thought. If you wore it a lot you'd be in danger of 'you know her - that woman who wears that bright green dress' territory.Smile

My JL Kin balloon jeans are a success. Very like the shape of the Toast ones but a bit neater - come up a fair bit smaller on the waist. And literally half the price. I'm keeping... and my man's Clarks Originals Desert London shoes. All set for Autumn.

Has anybody tried Hush Emily denim maxi dress, 99£.

I'm tempted as it's right up my street style wise and a good weight for winters here in the Algarve. . Ad I live abroad returning items gets spenny and difficult.

Any opinions?
