I’ve been reading this thread for ages, it’s so good. I’m finding this season a bit hard to grapple with as have just had a baby and feel like every thing I try looks rather lumpy. But that’s probably just me.

Does anyone have a mention me code thingee that they want to share? I think from all my saving I want to splurge (only because I haven’t spent anything in almost a year) on the Chie Mihara lace up boots, has anyone purchased these in previous years? and that beautiful multi colour scarf...

Nocureforlove all I seem to wear to work autumn and winter are TOAST denim dresses. Got 3. Had 4 but sold one. On the look out for another!

Wear blundstone boots with them and have a mole coloured pair which are a browny colour. Originally from TOAST but I purchased from Depop pretty much new. Very comfortable. I am a 6 and a 6 firs me really well.

I know Mizu. I have an embarrassment of denim dresses. If I could only wear one thing for the rest of my days it would be denim dresses. I am always on the lookout for the perfect one - like searching for the holy grail!

Those jeans look fab! I’m short in the leg though and I did wonder if that cut would just accentuate it?

@craftycorvid - I have short legs too- that's why I'm not going to keep the denim trousers with buttons at the waist - they're very similar to the ones @NoCureForLove has - beautiful, but look awful on me because of legs

Tempted by Blundstone boots but just not sure which size to order.. I am a 5 but wide feet .. should I go for the 5.5 do you think?
also has anyone ever bought Sorel Lennox boots (I like the grey and do actually want them for walking) And do you know if they ever do discount codes .. ?

@Laska2Meryls I bought some Blundstones last year from Toast and did not have them off my feet all winter. They are so comfy, and I am very fussy about comfiness in my footwear. I am a size 5/6 depending on brand, with wide feet. I bought the 5 and they are plenty roomy. They come with an extra insole, and I can fit a good thick sock without the extra insole or a thinner one with it. So I would say they are quite big and wide.

@NoCureForLove I’ve ordered the kin trousers as well, will let you know how I get on! Normally this sort of balloon shape is a bit much for me as I’m 5ft2, the kind of Annie shape with straight wide legs can work better.

I wear my normal size in blundstones, and I’ve got a fairly wide foot.

I ordered these Sorel Boots in the end as as had a discount code [smile ]..
I dont think that I can justify Blundstones as well...

I cancelled my JL appointment too @Laska2Meryls as by the time I went through my wardrobe last week I decided there was little I needed and the two things I thought I wanted had gone out of stock anyway. . How did you get the code before it happened (or didn’t) I waited right up to 48 hours before hand and no one had emailed me to as they said ‘introduce themselves and find out a bit more what you’re looking for’ but no one did. I felt that was cutting things a bit fine if I was going ahead with it.

I've been reading all of you enthusing about dresses and gradually realised that I don't possess one single normal everyday one! I wear vintage if I have to look smart (have some wonderful things that belonged to my grandmother) - and I have lots of sundresses for holidays, but nothing in between. So I explained all that and asked what she would recommend (though I did tell her I wanted to try the lovely green check Toast dress).

She suggested I buy that big Kin denim shirt dress with a belt, and another khaki coloured John Lewis dress which I think might be a bit flouncy but I've ordered it, along with the Toast dress. I think the Kin one is a bit too short - I want something I can wear without tights in the winter (hate tights)

I've also ordered the black denim pinafore dress and the olive cord one from Toast itself - and I'm sure I"ll be back here once they arrive asking for opinions
