@Rbdh I felt exactly the same!!!
I had an analysis and whilst quite gushy and lots of “babe” going on, I felt it was good and yes it helped me with shape and colour
I then had an online shop, and like you really really unimpressed. It was really underwhelming and again just a load of links. Also from shops that I view to be really quite poor quality.
I had also said I was short and breastfeeding so needed to be conscious of that with tops so no dresses.
Well most of the tops came from the petite section of Dorothy Perkins (a shop I hate!) and also I said I was short. I’m a size 14, therefore not petite in build, plus massive boobs from breastfeeding. So I need trousers for a short person. Not tops for a tiny frame when I’m a 14 with big boobs from feeding.
Plus there were dresses when I’d specifically said no dresses again due to feeding
To be fair, I did buy one top from M&S and do I really like it, but that was it and the whole thing was a massive let down.
And as for the way everything has been handled. I honestly wouldn’t recommend SBS to a single person now. The way they’ve acted, with their aggressive toxic approach, absolutely not. Susie NEVER used to be like this. And Emily, lovely fabulous Emily certainly isn’t. I love Emily’s posts, I think she’s great and whilst I’ve never met her, how she comes across is really warm and engaging.
Emily, if you are reading this, and I’m sure you are... please don’t change.
@TudorChimney yes I absolutely appreciate SBS is a small company, and I say this as a customer. But the way it’s run now is utterly toxic. Kicking customers out of that Facebook group? What kind of business does that??? Great way to engage with people
Susie getting angry and accusing people of naming her son on tattle, but actually she is the one who named her own son in a Daily Mail article of all things!!!
Susie emailing and threatening people with legal action because she dared to name a lipstick shade and Susie accused her of “trying to build her own following” what the actual fuck?! Threatening customers with legal action for mentioning a lipstick shade??? The whole group was totally run on censorship and control and I want no part of it. I’m not interested in a company that bangs on about anti bullying but then bullies and threatens customers privately, but oh “part of the £6 fee will go to charity for anti bullying, so hey it’s the same of a round of drinks at the bar”
Especially as businesses get a tax break for charity donations...
