Crop tops

Cold shoulder tops

Bardot tops/dresses cos I dont like bra straps showing, and Ive never found a strapless bra that's adequate. Ditto halternecks.

Floral anything

Crocs

High heels

cozycat1 · 18/08/2020 21:32

Tiered maxi skirts
anything boho paisley patterned type long smock dress things
Open toe boots
Heels
Work suits
tunics that you wear with leggings

WitchenKitch · 18/08/2020 22:05

Anything cut 3/4 length, pants and tops. No bueno on my long limbs. Similarly, mid-calf length skirts and dresses.

Leggings.
Chenille.

NameChange84 · 18/08/2020 22:18

Shirts especially checked shirts which I think are absolutely hideous, ditto for dungarees.

Not into ripped jeans, brogues or chunky type boots. Not really into anything “butch” looking. I hated 90s fashion as a tween and hated being forced into flannel shirts, baggy jeans and docs, I just felt gross and I guess it’s never changed lol.

WitchenKitch · 18/08/2020 22:20

Could I be the only mumsnetter who loves heels? Grin

NameChange84 · 18/08/2020 22:29

@WitchenKitch absolutely not, I adore them too!

Ginfordinner · 18/08/2020 22:39

I can't walk in heels. I walk fast, and have only worn proper shoes once since lockdown (to a funeral last week). I can't walk fast in heels, but just totter ridiculously.

And in my case heels are no more than 3 inches high.

Re three quarter length sleeves - in cold weather if my wrists are cold I am cold.

No, I love them too.

I was starting to wonder if I was the only mumsnetter who loves shorts. Short shorts. I've worn little else since Easter.

KingOfDogShite · 19/08/2020 09:38

Anything with frills, writing on, holes in, peplum, elastic around the bottom or pictures of animals on.

Fartleking · 19/08/2020 09:46

Anything with a pineapple motif
animal prints
heels (I think that's a given on here)
underwire bra
tight waisted jeans

Lockdown has shown me that there is no need for ever wearing anything that is uncomfortable. Screw fashion, I'm comfy!

Possiblynotever · 19/08/2020 11:14

Anything with flowers.
Short skirts. Skorts.
Dungarees ( you must be either very young or very skinny)
Real flats

Bwlch · 19/08/2020 11:35

Dungarees ( you must be either very young or very skinny)

Or a children's TV presenter.

angelfishrock · 19/08/2020 11:36

short shorts
mini dresses
high heels

foxtiger · 19/08/2020 12:10

Satiny textures

The colour gold

High round necks

High heels (can do medium heels but they need to be chunky - I walk a lot and need something I won't fall over in!)

Anything pure white for my top half (cream suits me better)
