I can't remember the last time i bought a pair of jeans.

OP posts:
Gomezzz · 17/08/2020 23:51

Heels
Low cut tops
boot cut jeans

Davespecifico · 17/08/2020 23:52

Skirts and dresses because I have cankles.

Thecazelets · 18/08/2020 00:00

Those awful Boden/Seasalt 'tunics'

Finkelbraun · 18/08/2020 00:11

Shoes.

I did a quick count last week when this occurred to me. I have about 15 pairs of boots, 7 pairs of flipflops/sandals, a few pairs of trainers, but only 1 pair of actual shoes (which I never wear).

tupperwaretowers · 18/08/2020 00:16

Can’t bring myself to buy one sided tops, the ones where the backs are plain and often in a different fabric.

BottomOfMyPencilCase · 18/08/2020 00:28

Crocs
Uggs
Dungarees
'Loungewear'

MintChocAddict · 18/08/2020 00:28

Dresses and rarely buy skirts either. My legs are probably my best feature but apple shape above the legs causes problems with dresses and top heaviness makes tops look odd with skirts.
Heels (can just about manage a wedge in summer but even then they tend to stay in the wardrobe) as I live in flat shoes/trainers/loafers/flip flops.
Hats, gloves (can't be arsed taking them on and off).

DoraemonDingDong · 18/08/2020 00:28

Jumpers with built-in shirts that hang out from "underneath" the jumper. Anything from Next.

Thinkpinkstink · 18/08/2020 00:31

Ooof cold shoulder tops. Even on the lithest, fittest, 20-something (which I am not) - I unfairly loathe them.

Also anything with unnecessary faff, frills, bows... I'm all about clean shapes and plain colours.

Terrorbites · 18/08/2020 01:03

Cold shoulder tops.
Short sleeved polo necks - if it's cold enough for a polo neck, I need sleeves.
Handkerchief, hi-lo or asymmetric hems.
Mid calf length pencil skirts

PersonaNonGarter · 18/08/2020 01:10

Sleeveless anything
Tunics
Leggings

I should buy really nice PJs. But there always seems to be a more pressing and exciting purchase, so i basically end up never buying nightwear and sleeping in old t-shirts...

spacemonkeyhat · 18/08/2020 01:30

Dressing gown.
My mum bought me a cotton dressing gown when I was about 12.
I'm now much older than that and the dressing gown gets used daily.
I'm viewing it as a challenge to keep it for life.

managedmis · 18/08/2020 02:18

Nothing with a pussy bow on it
Cold shoulder tops
Sleeveless dresses
Anything mustard /yellow/ camel coloured or any ice-cream colours

managedmis · 18/08/2020 02:19

I am thinking about not even trying to find flattering shorts anymore tbh, they all look shit

SenecaFallsRedux · 18/08/2020 02:28

Tights, known in my neck of the woods as pantyhose. I think the last time I wore them was about 1996.

DarkMutterings · 18/08/2020 03:31

Skirts just a faff
Beige/caramel/sand etc coloured clothes
Slogan tees
Cold shoulder tops or dresses
Thin cotton teeshirts, I buy them, they cling, I don't wear them.... and repeat... so I give up

therhubarbbrothers · 18/08/2020 03:38

Skirts or dresses

Tavannach · 18/08/2020 03:56

High heels
Acrylic
Shiny clothes
Shoulderless tops
Spaghetti straps
Split skirts

fuckingcovid · 18/08/2020 03:57

Dresses and skirts. The nearest I get is a long top and leggings

isabellerossignol · 18/08/2020 04:02

Polyester or polyester mix tops. I hate how they feel, I hate how they go all ball-y in the wash but most of all I hate how they make me smell. I shower daily, I use deodorant, I'm not even a particularly sweaty person but polyester makes me sweat so much that I smell terrible. It's the devil's own fabric.

Wester · 18/08/2020 04:13

@tupperwaretowers

Can’t bring myself to buy one sided tops, the ones where the backs are plain and often in a different fabric.
I'm exactly the same, I hate this.

Also anything that's jersey/cotton/wool. I have pet cats and can't be arsed picking off the pet fur so always choose fabrics that fur doesn't stick to.

Never buy a few other things:
Trousers
Anything with short sleeves
Anything with spaghetti straps
Slogan tops

StarlightLady · 18/08/2020 06:12

Dungarees

Multi pack knickers

Nightwear

Baggy trousers

KatherineJaneway · 18/08/2020 06:15

Suits
Shoulderless tops
