My Italy Korean towel thing came...

Jumped on the bandwagon and ordered a pack of the Italy Korean towel exfoliating cloths.
Ever the sceptic didn't expect a great deal, I already regularly exfoliate, how much more skin can come off?
Christ on a bike! Soaked in the bath for 20 minutes then used the cloth and literally lost a whole person's worth of skin, could have recovered a sofa.....
So great was my enthusiasm I even called up DH and the children to witness the great unshedding!
Moral of the story-get theeselves on amazon and purchase these life changing beauties and you too shall have the skin of your dreams.

I have a salux cloth for tonight’s shower. Probably more excited than I ought to be 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yeah, I couldn't wait to use it! That's how exciting my life has become in lockdown....

Can you post a link please op?

GlassHouseYouGlassHouse · 29/07/2020 18:35

I was reading about these yesterday on the thread about stuff you've bought thanks to MN style and beauty, and decided against it as I've spent enough on random stuff recommended on here. However, this post has changed my mind! Off to order now.

ProperVexed · 29/07/2020 18:37

They didn't do a thing for me!

23trains · 29/07/2020 18:41

I bought some a few weeks ago, after seeing them on a S&B thread, but haven’t used them yet. What do I do with them?

I’ve also bought dermaplaning blades but am too scared to use them in case I end up with stubble!

FunnyInjury · 29/07/2020 18:44

It's not nearly so satisfying after the first go though 😂

Which reminds me, I havent Korean scrubbed in months now, so I should have a good build up again...might have a bath this week now I've remembered Grin

Littleelffriend · 29/07/2020 18:44

@23trains I bought the Hollywood browser blades after reading about them in here. No stubble and was quite impressed

FunnyInjury · 29/07/2020 18:45

I do shower every day!!

Patsypie · 29/07/2020 18:46

They did bugger all for me either.

CrazyDuchess · 29/07/2020 18:48

Link please!!!

Wambsgans · 29/07/2020 18:51

Didn't do much for me either...
I have a question though, when you open the pack they seem inside-out as the seam is on the outside. Are you meant to turn them inside out/outside in, or does it not matter?

lazylinguist · 29/07/2020 18:51

Me too, OP! Bought mine after reading about them on here. Amazing the amount of skin that comes off and the smoothness afterwards. I've used mine a few times now - still effective and satisfying!

I wonder if the people for whom it does nothing were already regularly exfoliating. I wasn't, so maybe there was more to scrub off!

I bought those too, they're my new thing that I didn't know I needed in my life !

Whenasuitcasejustwontdo · 29/07/2020 19:22

It didn't do anything for me either! For those who it has worked for, do you use shower gel or soap regularly? I've wondered if that makes a difference?

ohkevin · 29/07/2020 19:36

I exfoliate regularly and they do absolutely nothing for me.

And they shrink so much I can't even get my hand in them.

Fiftysixthnamechange · 29/07/2020 19:38

Sorry, unsure how to link, but if you put Korean Italy towels into amazon you'll have plenty to choose from!
They're bright green, you throw them into the bath, where they will shrink to half the size 😂. You MUST sit in the water for at least 20 minutes, then jab your fingers into the now tiny cloth and start sanding away. It doesn't matter which way round you use it, it's the same on both sides.
I use mine with soap.
I'm going to try again in a couple of days and see if if it was just a one off!
Disclaimer: also bought the Hollywood browser and LOVE it! Not for the hair removal but it makes my face glow.

Agree - these are amazing! Soak in bath...no soap/shower gel and best if no body lotion etc on skin. Step out of water, or lift limb out of water, let air dry till just slightly damp and then scrub. Long strokes are best...the amount of skin that comes away is horrifying but satisfying!!

readwritelove · 29/07/2020 21:07

Just bought some. Excited!

3rdNamechange · 29/07/2020 21:13

I haven't got a bath , would they work if you just shower ?

lazylinguist · 29/07/2020 21:16

Apparently they work with a long shower. I use mine in the bath, wash as normal with soap and use the exfoliating cloths afterwards on wet skin.

motherf88 · 29/07/2020 21:27

Mine arrived today and I just used them. Wow I did not know I had that much skin to come off. Amazing.

23trains · 29/07/2020 21:30

I bought these blades - are they like the ones everyone else has bought?

Fluffycloudland77 · 29/07/2020 21:33

Well I’ve used my salux cloth and I’m smoother. I’ll give it a months use and evaluate then.

I have a red spotty things on my upper arm for years & I want it gone.

Hairthrowaway · 29/07/2020 21:35

This sounds scary Grin it would probably trigger my sensitive skin
