My Italy Korean towel thing came...

Jumped on the bandwagon and ordered a pack of the Italy Korean towel exfoliating cloths.
Ever the sceptic didn't expect a great deal, I already regularly exfoliate, how much more skin can come off?
Christ on a bike! Soaked in the bath for 20 minutes then used the cloth and literally lost a whole person's worth of skin, could have recovered a sofa.....
So great was my enthusiasm I even called up DH and the children to witness the great unshedding!
Moral of the story-get theeselves on amazon and purchase these life changing beauties and you too shall have the skin of your dreams.

@Floisme 🙄 you've heard of exfoliating right ?

MrDarcysMa · 30/07/2020 19:22

@nanbread

But what state does it leave your legs in, do they actually feel any better than before?
So the bottom half of my legs, it doesn't do much for as shaving kind of exfoliates them anyway- I don't shave above the knee and loads of dead skin comes off there. They're really good for using on bikini line too to prevent dead skin.
MrDarcysMa · 30/07/2020 19:24

@calabalamuc

Will these Korean towel things help with the tiny dots on my legs from shaving them (not stubble as freshly shaved and feel lovely and smooth)? Or is there some other product I don't know about which will make my legs look nicer Grin?
@calabalamuc no that sounds like shaving rash/ burn/ sensitivity to shaving. Using abrasive exfoliation will likely irritate them more. Are you using a high quality razor and a good gel? Mine get like that if I don't soak my legs first, shave whilst I have goose bumps or use crap cheap razors.

Can I give you guys a tip about these little green wonders. Do not accidentally put one in the wash with your whites, they will go green 😄

KingFredsTache · 30/07/2020 19:25

Call me a tin foil hatter but I'm sceptical.
It's dead skin - it's going to fall off soon anyway.

This is my DH's philosophy - he thinks I'm batshit with all my exfoliators etc! The thing is he does have quite soft skin, so maybe he is onto something and it's me who has it wrong.....

Anyway, I got my cloths the other day and am another who was astonished and horrified at the amount of rolled off skin in the bath by the time I had finished!

I would also say, if you have a special event (well not at the moment I guess!) then do it the day before as it did leave my skin a bit red for a while afterwards.

Floisme · 30/07/2020 19:40

Yes I have MrDarcy but thank you for your concern.

I find a plain flannel meets my needs.

HermioneWeasley · 30/07/2020 22:12

Had a good soak and used mine for first time tonight. DP declined to come and see the impressive amount of sludge in the bath at the end - can’t think why?

Not sure my skin is looking or feeling any different, but it was very satisfying

chatwoo · 31/07/2020 05:50

I've got a pack of three, on their way from some far flung Ebay destination. Will I still be wowed by my skin shedding, if I just have a shower?

@chatwoo - it definitely worked better when I had a long soak in a bath first

chatwoo · 01/08/2020 03:08

Thanks @HermioneWeasley. We only have showers (no actual bath is present in the house!) so will have to see how it goes, when the cloths eventually arrive.

Fluffycloudland77 · 01/08/2020 07:10

Salux cloths might work better for you @chatwoo. If you go away take the Korean cloths with you.

Thank you @Fluffycloudland77! I'd never heard of salux cloths until this thread Smile

OP, thanks to your recommendation for the Mutha Scrubber I went and bought one, Total game changer! Thankyou! Grin

twolittleboysonetiredmum · 06/08/2020 17:59

Can you see the difference in skin tone? I’m very fair and have lots of dry patches - not bothered about my skin feeling soft really but looking better would be good 😂

Do you use the cloth while still in the bath, on wet skin? Or on dry skin? I bought some but not sure how to use them!
