I think the 30-degree heat must have gone to my head as I’ve just ordered the last Ida dress in a size 10. I’ve overlooked this dress on every previous JL browse - and pegged it as boring - but I thought it was worth a punt for £45. It reviewed very the Toast website.

I’m going to have a go at photographing some of my new Toast outfits this weekend. About time I braved 21st-century technology!

I seem to have missed out today on all JL goodies!! I did order a white stuff hot pink jersey shirt though to wear under my pinafores/dungarees as i love it with indigo. It was only £16 so worth a go!
Look forward to seeing your outfits @Moominmammaatsea and especially the Ida dress. How did i miss that in a 10?!!!

I actually really love that dress but the colour has put me off as even though i love it, not sure it really suits my colouring. Excited to see it on you though! I love the print on it.

..and for what its worth, i dont find it boring at all!

The almond print shirt just arrived and I’m delighted with it. I was expecting it to be too boxy but it really isn’t. £28!!!

I have a rip off of it, which cost £20 from Amazon. A lot cheaper but actually still very lovely.

Bagged a white boy Tshirt in medium. Very short on body so might be going back to JL. Double faced cotton indigo jacket is a keeper.

Parchment trousersin 12 are going back only just fit on waist and huge on bum . Not made for my shape ( inverted triangle) at all.. The red checked top I didn't even try on ! Hated the fabric. . I ordered the Seth shirt in 10 yesterday but should have red the reviews first.. think now that it will probably be too small in shoulders..I have several Toast 'easy cut' shirts in 10 but reviews not positive on the cut of this one..

I got the Kado dress and it only just fits on the bosom. The waist is rather loose. After all my roomy Toast dresses, it was surprising to find something neatly fitting! I reckon I could do with losing another 5 lbs though....

What size Seth did you get, laska? Mine is a 12 and I would say it’s fitted on the shoulders. I nearly didn’t keep it as it has a bit of a dentist vibe but it looks great with the workwear jacket and I can always dye it if it really feels too much.

I’m not surprised about those parchment trousers - they are baggy even on my backside and neat on the waist. I’ve won mine a lot but they are def made for bums rather than waists.

Alix trousers have arrived. Do people wear them with a low hung crotch?. If I pull them up they're distinctly calf length on me. I think I might be at serious risk of overdoing the cropped trousers in drab colours. Will have to have a big try-on session and choose my fave UK summer, windswept beach look.

Cherries it was the 10, it'll be too small then as I am bigger on shoulders than you.. Ah well ... it meant that I had free postage but the smaller And /or blouse ( as above) which I have ordered to see if it is a better fit

gymtonic yes I am happy with lower crutch on the Alix . I found that I had to size down though. Looked much better then ..

A few more returns onJL now. Tempted by indigo pleat trousers but suspect they’ll be short.

We just got home from a day out (Anish Kapoor at Houghton Hall, v good!) to find my M.Hulot bag has arrived. It’s very simple and I’m really pleased with it because it fills a ‘hole’ in my wardrobe and I can see me using it loads. Thanks again to the person who recommended this brand!
