I have had great luck with tracking down things by calling stores. Islington are absolutely fantastic, very helpful.

I’m sure I’ve seen a newsreader on tv wearing that dress. She was blonde but I can’t remember her name. She looked lovely!

@faustina I have a Toast pass. I thought it was part of kindred? No idea that they stopped it. I don't pay for delivery or returns [usually] Some sale items came through without a free return sticker. I just used one from another parcel.

Dont even know why they bothered with Kindred. Apart from free delivery and returns, there wasnt much extra. You did get invites to things but since i was in scotland, I am much too far away. I did get a gift of tea once. I think @Laska2Meryls got a gift of something too..a bag recently if i remember right. I never got anything that good. I am not a tea jenny. I ended up giving it away.

You were meant to get gifts every now and then. Did anyone get anything? Nice to compare!

@neveradullmoment99...I only got tea ( one occasion) which was clearly included to promote the tea company! I also never get discount emails (although my mother, who buys less from Toast than I do, does receive them occasionally).

@neveradullmoment99 - do you get free delivery and returns for sale stuff?

@AFingerofFudge - that's the one! It looks lovely doesn't it!

So here are the dye results: on the left is a white linen boy tee (in a large) and on the right is the Emma half sleeve cotton tee in a small which was a kind of pebbled white/creamy colour. Very very pleased with both. Haven't ironed them yet as you can see!

The dye is Dylon machine in navy blue

I also ordered these dungarees this morning - will pick them up tomorrow. They were a bit of a spur of the moment order!

@faustina I'm a massive Kin fan. I have loads of things from there, a lot of it is sort of Japanese Toast iyswim.

@DameCelia I don’t suppose you’ve tried those dungarees have you? The picture isn’t very revealing

@faustina sadly no, my age and bosom would not combine well with them.

@Laternhill - Yes I have had free returns for everything but most recently they have been a bit cheeky and have shoved in a non-prepaid slip which is annoying. I have emailed them in the past and they have sent me a printable one though.

@faustina - the dungarees look lovely. So do your t-shirts. I have the emma cotton half sleeve in the kind of chewing gum white colour. Its not the best. I would quite like to dye mine. I got a response from dylon to say the machine dye is safe to use as long as you do per instructions.

As for kin, I am a 12. I tried on something in John lewis - a dress and it was huge. What size do you go for?

@neveradullmoment99 - I think that's the same Emma as mine! I'm really pleased with the effect the navy blue has had on it. Which colour are you going to try?

@neveradullmoment99 - I ordered in an 8. Just had a sudden hankering for land girl type dungarees - I quite liked the sea salt ones in the same kind of linen cotton mix too, so if the Kin ones are rubbish I think I'll try them next

Im not sure. Blue would be practical. I may wear it in white but tbh, it looks like it has run through with darks in the wash!
I wanted the small or the medium but the large is ok. Roomier at the bottom but at the price, I can live with that. Its only slightly big at the shoulders. Its beautiful quality isn't it?

@DameCelia funnily enough the purple dress just arrived, and unexpectedly I think it’s a keeper. Beautiful fabric like you said and I think I could wear it year-round with boots and sandals.

Word to the wise and on sizing - I went up 2 sizes on my usual Toast size. It’s roomy but not ridiculously so. So if you can’t track down a size 14, size 16 may work. Good luck!

Bet it was Sophie Raworth, she loves Toast. She often wears a navy and white one which, sadly, was never in stock in my size in the sale.

I have the toast indigo denim dungarees, 2 hush pairs [ denim and black denim] also have a slim ones from fatface! I love dungarees.
Actually, I am awaiting the loop jersey ones from Toast. I managed to snag them in black on the Toast website. Royal mail are taking ages to deliver them. They should have arrived yesterday but they are stuck in Glasgow mail centre today! Very annoying.

@faustina just wondering, what size are you. Are you normally an 8? I am a 12 but in toast I am a small or a 10 usually.
