@Laska2Meryls, you look sensational in today’s outfit; I think it’s my favourite of all the looks you’ve posted.
@Saurus72, the dress looks absolutely stunning on you - I hoped to bag the scarf in that fabric but no joy. I think the purple would absolutely zing if you wore it with the red Saltwaters I spy under your sofa!
@neveradullmoment99, I was apparently a member of the Kindred club, only Toast never told me and the only way I found out was that suddenly my postage would show as free for express 24/48-hour delivery! I didn’t mention it to anyone in case it was a mistaken privilege that would be removed if I pointed it out. 😳 I did once receive a free gift of a beautiful Furoshiki (Japanese knitted bag) in a blue Ikat fabric when I ordered a black Kantha jacket in last year’s sale.
Incidentally, I have resolved my trouser quandary; I rashly gave my preteen the deciding vote between the Judes and the Jamies - without a moment of hesitation, she opted for the former, so I’m sticking by her choice. The Jamies are back in their packaging, ready to be dropped at the Post Office tomorrow morning.
I am eagerly awaiting the indigo pleat front trousers (due for delivery to our community Co-op tomorrow) and really hoping the fit is as flattering as the Judes (and the Jamies).
Does anyone else here like Emma Bridgewater mugs and crockery? Our charity shops are slowly reopening and in Oxfam today I found four original (I think 1980s) fig print mugs (with the original bridge for Bridgewater stamp), all in excellent condition, for £5 for the set! I am a not-so-secret geek as I collect Bridgewater mugs and pottery, Folio Society and Persephone books (plus Ted Hughes and Sylvia Plath first editions). I like to think of myself as actually quite interesting in real life, though!
