Hello!

There used to be a lovely what are you wearing today? thread(s) on here for people who were plus size (circa 16/18 and up I think).

Could anyone tell me if they've seen one lately please? If there isn't one on the go, would anyone be interested in joining me on here?

I'm size 16/18. Today I'm in a New Look floral dress and DM boots. Pic attached (hopefully).

I was reading the fashion page in the Telegraph yesterday and she mentioned, among other things: knitted dresses, the colour teal and "indoor coats" (the picture showed a grey snuggly long cardigan). I have bought all these things in the last week (before I said I needed to stop shopping )... from Sainsbury's. I felt very smug and "on point".

I'm in the market for a nice jumper drese for winter so will check out TU!

Grey skinnies size 16 from EMP and a stripey square next top size L.

Hi all. Love this thread- it feels like a comfy welcoming sofa.

Nothing exciting this weekend- we have been camping and didn't wash, brush my teeth or even wee in a toilet for two days! We have been on the water most of the weekend so I guess that counts as a form of washing . I wanted to attach a pic of my trendy wetsuit look but I couldn't work out how to blank my face out.

Here I am in grey gf jeans, pink tshirt and black cardi, all size 16 (I think) from Tu. White Fitflop trainers.

Just off to the park today. It's one you have to book into. We were at another one yesterday and ended up just having a walk and leaving without playing as it was absolutely heaving! I'm not overly cautious about social distancing. Just cautious enough, I'd say! But that was ridiculous. Hoping the booking system today will be better!

Today is DDs first day at reception (sob). Prob won't hold up to the school mum scrutiny as I'll be 20 years older than most of them, but fuck 'em. I'm wearing black straight leg jeans and this fab sweatshirt.

I'm in my trusty M&S wide legged leggings at the mo and a nike top as I had to get everyone up today (first day of school) and drive my eldest to school as his train was cancelled (FFS) Now I'm working from home with NO CHILDREN!!! DH is downstairs but I've told him not to bother me :)

Hope your dd's first day goes well today @IslaMann . I bet you looked super stylish at drop off in your lovely sweatshirt . I almost bought something like that a while ago, but DH talked me out of it, which I'm now really bitter about .

Wearing a charity shop pinafore, and a very very old stripy top. It's my chucky outfit day 😂. Skull dm boots (lined with plasters), and my trusty second hand leather jacket monsoon. Size 18.

The pinafore is a little tighter than I would have hoped for but here we are. Have to wear something that isn't palazzo pants at sometime 😂

I need new bras and have learnt the Belfast bravissimo is closed. Fairly devastated. 34/36j isn't easy. Gonna try ring them after the dentist. They have all my orders on file and I'm happy to order double what I think I need and return some.

I'm in the same jeans as yesterday but with a plain black M&S tshirt. Soon we are off to the lake district for some camping fun so I'm trying to find the tent and get a start on the packing.

I've seen someone on facebook in a really nice looking hellbunny skirt but I DO NOT NEED ANY MORE CLOTHES lol so am not even looking :p

Did my bra phone order, I said I think I've gone up a little in the back so I've got 6 very expensive bras coming in a size which may or may not fit. I didn't like the experience of doing it over the phone. I go in, tell them what I like, and ask them politely to get me out of the shop as quick as possible. Record was 15minutes,so will see how the post order comes up.

Can anyone advise on hellbunny dresses and sizing? I think I'm more 16 than 18 but I may just be kidding myself and be an 18. Large of nork

I'm a 16 and got the XL I believe, it fits really well. If you are buying from EMP they do free returns.

I am also a 16 - 18, but it really varies for me! I can be a small 16 in some shops or busting out of an 18 in others. There's no rhyme or reason, but I do think I'm more 18 than 16. I am also top heavy and large of boob!

I got an XXL in my HB dress and think it is a good fit on me. I think that's the first thing I've had from there though, so that was probably more luck than judgement!

I need an intervention here, bloody dresses.. Getting carried away, help!!! 😂

Today I ha been mostly wearing black Sahara harems with black Hampstead Bazaar long top. Grey and black Sahara striped lagenlook cardigan. All charity shop finds.
Green nail varnish, with additional white, yellow and blue splodges (my quick solution to chipped polish) and several jingly bangles. I haven't been out, so the whole ensemble is pulled together with bare, slightly grimy feet. My hair is up in one of those long banana slides.

I’ve been back at work for a week now and struggling with what to wear as hate most of my work wardrobe and feel so fat and frumpy in it all.

Have struggled with weight for the last ten years. Lost over 6 stone but have gained back a stone and half over the last year so back to a size 18 ish.

Today I am wearing a navy blue cardigan and a blue dress with a knot front in a swirly blue pattern. Think the dress was from curvissa as my mum brought to for me and the cardigan is yours clothing.

Going to be wearing Birkenstock’s as I have a broken foot! 3 weeks and still can’t get a shoe on.

I'm mainly lurking on here, but need to make more effort so going to make an effort to join in

It's school run only this week - first week at school - so I'm easing myself in. Today I'm wearing black nike airforce ones, black bootcut jeggings and a grey jersey shirt.

It's sideways rain here, so an umbrella won't cut it, so need to buy a new rain coat - any recommendations for a nice one in s20-22 please?

@greyinganddecaying, I am told Seasalt is good for rain coats. At least I think it's Seasalt I'm thinking of! I got myself a winter parka from Regatta in the summer sales. I haven't had the chance to try it in the cold weather yet, but it is very snuggly and was such a bargain!

@Giggorata , I like your way of dealing with chipped nail polish! I just don't bother painting mine, as they always end up a mess .

My nail varnish is usually tough but seems to be chipping more often. I wonder if all the sanitiser is weakening the polish? Anyway...

Today I'm wearing this Junarose dress. I ordered the correct size but it's really big and utterly shapeless on me. I was hoping for a swing look. Shame as the quality is surprisingly good for the price.
