Hello!

There used to be a lovely what are you wearing today? thread(s) on here for people who were plus size (circa 16/18 and up I think).

Could anyone tell me if they've seen one lately please? If there isn't one on the go, would anyone be interested in joining me on here?

I'm size 16/18. Today I'm in a New Look floral dress and DM boots. Pic attached (hopefully).

A blue patterned top from East - one of those rare ones that goes down to your tummy! My black very thin ribbed trousers. I love these. I wear them for work. I think they were from Peacocks but I have gott them from Amazon in the past.

@sonjadog I blardy love that pinafore. I'm also wearing one today. I was going to be wearing denim dungarees, however they are a bit snug. I've lost a stone, but apparently thats not quite enough for dungaree fun time. I did fit back into my raincoat yesterday though, which is good timing frankly.

I'm instead wearing me-made denim pinafore. I copied this off a hell bunny pinafore which was adorable much much too short for me. Also it didn't have pockets. First outing for my record player brooch too. I love brooches. Not enough brooches worn!

I'm off to my friends house tonight for small joint birthday party so I shall probably change into nice frock.

Oh cute pinafore dress @sugarbum! I am honestly, so in awe of your sewing skills! I wish I could do that. You make beautiful dresses.

Here I am in an attempt to dress up my yoga gear! I'm planning to do a zoom class later, but have some errands to do first!

That is an excellent pinafore, subarbum! I am really impressed that you made it youself. I have been eyeing up this pinafore for a while, but I am not sure if it would suit me. It might make me look even larger than nature intended...

I like the dressed up outfits! You all look very smart. I forgot to take a photo before I came to work this morning, but will go and see if I can take one in the toilets shortly.

Now I have just found this one, which I think I like even better. I wonder how short it would be on someone who is not model-height?

I love a bit of Hellbunny, my top tip for the day is to check if the item your after is available on EMP as they do free returns should the fit not be right.

@sonjadog those are the exact styles that I copied from. The shape is very flattering. They are just too short for me though (I'm 5ft 5)

I did make one very similar (yeah I know, shut up Sugarbum!) because this has quite nice coverage on the boob area so I can wear my granny bra (my longline 50s style boulder holder)

@sugarbum I think I might have been watching too much sewing bee, although I couldn't stich a scrunchy myself, the fact the pattern doesn't match on the back is niggling me lol

Ah no, don't worry! At least it wasn't ££££ and I like that it is nearly all cotton. Bargain for that price with the code as well.

alas, I'm not changing into another dress tonight, because its completely p*ssing down and not really weather appropriate. I shall wear my birthday dress next time the sun is out!

Today’s outfit. Not very exciting but only housework planned today. I love these coulottes. They are super comfy and they swish nicely when I walk.

The EMP site has sucked me in and I've just ordered 2 dresses from there...

I'm in the same clothes as yesterday and so far, haven't even left the house today! We played monopoly (kids are too little to play, so we did teams) and might go for a walk in a bit.

A Kingfisher/Teal colour tunic top fromAntthony (QVC) and a pair of black thin ribbed trousers. The thin ribbed trousers I have a few of and are my work go to trousers.

We have been out for the day at a NT park, i'm in my grey skinny jeans and metalica t shirt. Gosh its got cold, Mr LDGUK has stuck the heating on!

Apologies to everyone now addicted to EMP lol I get most my casual clothes from there now, their own brands are great quality.

I can't understand the EMP chest sizes! Are only meAsuring the front or are they all very small sizes incl Plus sized???!!!
