Hello!

There used to be a lovely what are you wearing today? thread(s) on here for people who were plus size (circa 16/18 and up I think).

Could anyone tell me if they've seen one lately please? If there isn't one on the go, would anyone be interested in joining me on here?

I'm size 16/18. Today I'm in a New Look floral dress and DM boots. Pic attached (hopefully).

I've been to two gym classes this morning , ignoring the fact they are only half an hour each at the mo, due to covid .

Will post proper outfit once I'm changed.

Just ran a couple errands and now slumped on the couch while kids are entertaining themselves.

I'm particularly office-y today. Navy cigarette trousers. Long cream silky shirt which I bought five years ago and have only worn twice for no reason that I can fathom. Long navy linen blend cardigan (our office was cold yesterday), Sketchers for walking to/from work but will change into navy slingback flats when I get to the office.

As I think @LadyPrigsbottom said, it's been such a lovely summer (even though I've worked all the way through), autumn isn't filling me with the usually horror - apart from the thought of wearing tights again

Have GOT to stop shopping! I genuinely don't need anything now. In fact I left my wardrobe open the other day and when I went back in the room I was actually a bit shocked at how much was in there

On site today in black M&S boot cut trousers, long sleeved purple top from M&Co, hard hat, high viz, and steeltoe cap boots lol

Excuse lack of photo yesterday! Time ran away from me. But I was in my green, Asos, skater dress, black leggings and hiking boots.

I've been for a swim early this morning, (sadly not in the sea, a la @JerseyMermaid ).

I am in navy top from Tu, white tank top underneath, from M&S, blue print skirt from a charity shop, (also M&S) and white Fitflop trainers. All size 16 except the trainers. Navy top might be an 18, but can't remember.

Sorry haven't kept up with the thread! Here is my offering for today:

Trousers: new today- got them at an outlet village in Weird Fish- reduced to £8 and proper cotton which is nice. Love the print.

I did a huge clearout of my wardrobe last week and got rid of so much stuff, (mainly far too small for me now ). I now have a nice number of things in my wardrobe, but that has to be it now. Stern voice at self!

Currently on Norfolk on a short holiday so not getting any outfit pics in as there's no big mirror. I did wear my lobster / crab dress today though as we were in Cromer

I'm on a short holiday in the New Forest (very pretty!) It's a tad gloomy today so I have on an old River Island dress with leggings instead of tights because...cold...

Newish blazer from H&M for a meeting today. Excited for dress up Friday tomorrow :D

Long sweatshirt and jeggings, both from Uniqlo, with knee boots from Office today. Not much on. Just a swim and errands plus the school run.

I am also excited for dress up Friday ! What to wear, what to wear 🤔.

I found my M&S t shirt in a bag - red background, large white flowers. It was clean so I put in on! I have a huge backlog of washing to get through so that was a bonus! Wearing with my Monsoon jeans.

Dress up Saturday anyone? I'm sort of dressed up, as my lovely Hell Bunny dress arrived! Here I am in it, think I'm in XXL (18ish), with a black denim jacket, 44, a random pick from a Lookiero box, with white Fitflop trainers (looking a bit dusty from walk in the woods yesterday, sorry )

Shame about dress-up Friday as I actually did dress up last night as we went out-out for our wedding anniversary.

(It was slightly embarrassing as for the first time I was all out of ideas and didn't get him anything. Normally he gets me flowers - this year he bought me an eternity ring!!!)

Aw no! Isn't that typical?? I had the same thing one valentine's day. I got him a card and a book and he got me a really beautiful bracelet from Tiffany's!

I think they like doing that occasionally though, so 🤷‍♀️. My DH does anyway.

He was so pleased with himself (and was fine about it), God love him.

The dress looks fab LadyP, mine has also arrived but I was hiking today in green craghoppers, blue fleece and walking boots. Now I cant move :p

What a great thread! I am a size 18/20 and having a bit of an identity crisis right now! Today I wore joules skinny jeans and an Old Breton from Crew Clothing.

I think it can be a lot harder to know what to wear when you're plus size and this thread is just the best for inspiration. Everyone always looks fab on here. I love it!

Thank you @LadyPrigsbottom I have just been scrolling through the pics and so many great outfits! I have gained a lot of weight over the last two years through ill health and am struggling with dressing my larger figure. I love clothes and have quite a lot but sadly two thirds don’t fit me now!

So sorry to hear about your health issues .

I too have gained a lot of weight in the past couple of years, but it's because I'm just greedy and a bit lazy . Ok, there was the whole breastfeeding a very hungry baby thing, so when I stopped feeding him, I kept the appetite and the weight piled on...thing, but it is also just me.

I'm getting a lot more active now and eating healthier, but I think that's because I feel more confident and less obsessed with just my weight iyswim and I definitely feel this thread has helped so much. I need to read the op back tbh as it feels like so long ago now!!
