Hello!

There used to be a lovely what are you wearing today? thread(s) on here for people who were plus size (circa 16/18 and up I think).

Could anyone tell me if they've seen one lately please? If there isn't one on the go, would anyone be interested in joining me on here?

I'm size 16/18. Today I'm in a New Look floral dress and DM boots. Pic attached (hopefully).

@BestIsWest welcome! Ofc, I'm a size 18\20 which an apple shape with all of my weight on my tummy lol I've found this thread really useful seeing other ladies of the same shape looking fab.

@ChequerBoard I think they're cute. My only niggle would be that they're £45 which seems quite expensive. You could get a pair from a known shoe brand that might be a little comfier for the same price? However I did get some sandals from Next which are the comfiest pair I've ever had

Hobbs skirt (from ebay) sz 16 and warehouse black T in a size 14. I might lose the belt as I dont think the waist of the skirt is high enough to be flattering?

@ChequerBoard I can't picture them going with a lot of colours but I'm prob not the best to ask as I would never get light coloured shoes, I wrek my shoes in months its like I'm a toddler :p

The pumps are lush, Chequer. I’d definitely go for them. They look easy to wear and would match a range of outfits.

Here I am in Hush tee, shorts from BhS or C&A or somewhere which no longer exists, which shows how old they are, and fitflop trainers.

@ChequerBoard I really like those pumps and they would be ok into autumn too I think.

I’ve been for a lush swim this morning and I’m heading back down to the beach for a BBQ.

Charity shop dress again.Which my friend said she had donated to the shop 🤣

@LadyPrigsbottom it was the first time I had braved the charity shops since lockdown- it wasn't the same but still worth it!

@JerseyMermaid love the maxi dress. I got one in my haul last week but have been too scared to wear it as I am short but I am being ridiculous!

Ancient short shorts and equally ancient M&S linen sleeveless top. Didn't venture out anywhere so was in the garden mosy of the day.

Just caught my reflection in a dark window. The shorts look like something from It ain't half hot Mum but it was nice to see my legs looked good and gives me the confidence to stick with the shorter skirts I'd started wearing last winter. Hurrah.

Today I'm off work and mooching about the house. Going to try and declutter my sons room a bit while he is at nursery. Wearing some beige cropped trousers from Sainsburys and a navy t shirt from M&S. I got these trousers just after giving birth as they have elasticated waist and alas they are now getting a bit tight .

I'm boring today, in a pair of jeggings and an ancient navy blue camisole top from Laura Ashley. The bingo wings are on full display in the house today but I have a smart sheer-ish dogtooth check blouse to put on over the top for appearances on video calls today. It's also ancient, bought from Elvi and quite a bit too big but nice as an over shirt. The 3/4 length sleeve cuffs are very baggy so have pushed them right up my arms to create a slightly puff sleeve look

Also love the maxi dress and a morning swim in the sea sounds like absolute heaven to me! Must try and do an early morning excursion to the seaside some day. We are a good drive from the nearest beach, but it's be worth the early start I think.

I’m on holiday this week but the weather seems to have clouded over but it’s still warm. I’ve just been for another sea swim.

So easy clothes for me today: next size 18 trousers & river island top size 16 top with Birkenstocks.

The top is charity shop and looks quite nice with jeans too. I haven’t worn jeans in weeks: dread to think how tight they might be now!!

I got some DM lace up shoes for work on ebay, worn once £30 including postage but they destroyed the back of my heels, need to look into how to wear that bit in I guess.

Working from home today and it’s quite cool so wearing black long vest top (Tesco, they do brilliant longline vests), charcoal grey leggings (Morrisons, surprisingly good), loose denim shirt bought in Old Navy, Canada. ASICS trainers.

I've had an outfit change to meet my friends this evening. This skirt is a size 12 from new look but has a veeeery stretchy waist lol.

Today we have a skirt from unknown provenance that was £3.75 in a charity shop, with a navy top from marks. I know I'm not trendy but I don't care- I like what I wear!

Both size 16.

A flowery T-shirt dress from Yours. I've always dressed terribly in the summer, usually making myself ill by overheating. So this year it ends and I've bought myself a few summer dresses along with some funky bright chub shorts. Not particularly flattering but very cooling!!

Top from good old Tesco today and skirt from Shein curve which I tried for the first time about a week ago, surprisingly it's quite good. They have mixed reviews and delivery took about ten days but I was happy with everything I bought.

Can I join if that's ok? I love seeing everyone's outfits.

Went to the dentist today.. Not the nicest experience.

Jacket is leather, second hand Wallis Size 18. Top is very old size L. Trousers from ebay size XL I think, palazzo pants but doesn't show in the photo, size 16/18 anyway . Very fake vans my husband bought off ebay which I've inherited as they were size 7 when they should have been a 9. The seller gave 70% refund and let us keep them when we complained.

I was going to wear my new dm boots but I've ripped my ankles to pieces trying to break them in.

Lovely outfits today! So strange to see and read the difference in outfits for the weather! It is very hot here again today.

@LordOfTheOnionRings, that outfit is gorgeous! We've discussed Shein on here before, briefly and I still haven't braved buying anything from them, but that skirt is lovely.

I got a new pinafore in the post today. Will be wearing it this autumn with tights.
