Hello!

There used to be a lovely what are you wearing today? thread(s) on here for people who were plus size (circa 16/18 and up I think).

Could anyone tell me if they've seen one lately please? If there isn't one on the go, would anyone be interested in joining me on here?

I'm size 16/18. Today I'm in a New Look floral dress and DM boots. Pic attached (hopefully).

Ah that's good. Something to look forward to! A change if scene definitely helps I think. We might book something for late August, but we are obviously cutting it a bit fine now.

My gym has reopened and I am hoping to go to a Pilates class tomorrow night, but there is a waitlist. I can go swimming as well. Think it's fairly safe as chlorinated, but also never sure about swimming pools. Ah bloody covid, will you kindly fuck off now please ?

New dress, inspired by dress bought buy someone on this thread. It should be useful for work this autumn. Opaque tights because summer seems to have disappeared today.

Yes, the weather has been a bit hit and miss this weekend.

Too much tight today in skinny jeans and fitted t shirt, but its rain and storms all day here in the NW so I'm going nowhere. If I do go out it will be like a fell walker :p

I am the opposite today! All baggy. Lounge suit thing from Uniqlo; it consists of a pair of joggers and a long breton sweatshirt. Cosy!

I've gone a bit gothic today. Yet another Miss Selfridge smock dress (these have become by WFH uniform during lockdown) this time in plain black but with 50d Suffragette Purple tights from Snag for a bit of colour!

I love your smocks @ChequerBoard! I never shop in Miss S, but might give it a go!

Did anyone else see the "what the hell is this fashion?" thread on AIBU recently? It was about H&M cotton, short, swing type dresses with a scoop neck and massive puff sleeves. Anyway, the thread was saying how awful they were, but I took a look and bought two of them 😂🙈😂🙈. I am definitely a fashion weirdo.

They are arriving soonish, so will try them on for you lot.

I've got the snag tights in suffragette purple too! Snag tights are so comfy aren't they? I used to wear mine to work with a pinstripe pencil skirt and white blouse, brightening up the work look a bit :)

I also have some of the suffragette purple Snags! I'm never sure what to wear them with. Sometimes I wear with a denim shirt dress. They look fab with the smock^^.

I thought those dresses were alright on that thread. On the website where they showed some non-models wearing them, I thought they looked better than on the actual models.

And tbf, there were plenty of people on the thread who liked them too.

I think I remember that thread, the models looked like they were having the most miserable time ever. I have to say puff sleeves have never appealed, but one of the tops I got in my stitch fix box has puff sleeves and an empire line and it looks fab on.

Completely failed to take a pic today, might manage one when I'm back home. It was a site visit again today so black trousers, a white short sleeved shirt with little polkadots, and a black blazer that has elbow length sleeves. I wore my new DM shoes and now my heels are in tatters :p

No pic here today either @LivingDeadGirlUK! DCs and I had a 'proper' outing today, (ie NOT a walk in the woods)! I am finding school holidays exhausting this year tbh! Nowhere to go and can't see people the way we normally would. Anyway, I'm in bed already . We have a playdate tomorrow, so I'll make sure I take a pic of my outfit.

Well its actually warmed up here and I had quite a bit of walking to do for work so black trousers from Next and Navy fitted cotten T from M&S.

The weather has been ok here and our playdate got cancelled in the end, as the other child is poorly. Haven't left the house and don't even care mwahahaha!

We had a nice day at the park and took lunch as there are some nice lunch benches, 5yo ran crazy for hours and has tired herself out 😄 those bloody seagulls though, so brazen!!

I finally got myself (and dcs) out of the house for a play at the park. It was actually boiling hot here, even late in the afternoon. Didn't need my Snags!

Just a quick play and home for us, as it was quite busy.
