Hello!

There used to be a lovely what are you wearing today? thread(s) on here for people who were plus size (circa 16/18 and up I think).

Could anyone tell me if they've seen one lately please? If there isn't one on the go, would anyone be interested in joining me on here?

I'm size 16/18. Today I'm in a New Look floral dress and DM boots. Pic attached (hopefully).

Love the dress and harems^^!

I was too warm. Had to swap the boots, tights and jacket for trainers, socks and no jacket.

Another day, another Miss Selfridge smock dress for me. this one is super comfy as it's a light stretch cotton. It's dark charcoal grey with a white floral pattern which I'm wearing with slate grey Snag tights.

Worried it's a bit too short but not going out anywhere so I guess DH, the DC and the three cats will cope with it OK!

Lovely @ChequerBoard!

I clearly have gone through my entire wardrobe on here. Here I am in the dress from my op again! Wore it to the park today with my Pozu, Rebel Alliance high tops. Lovely weather today! I always have a complaint about the weather, but today it's the perfect temperature imo.

Yesterday was:

Top, uniqlo, XL
Trousers, Cos, 44 (like UK 18, I think)
Leather ballet pumps, M&S, 7
Necklace, charity shop

Today:

Dress, Seasalt, 18
Necklace, as before!

I haven't put my shoes on yet, but I'll wear this with my white Fitflop trainers.

I have never tried Uniqlo. How are they for plus sizes?

LadyPrigsbottom · 22/07/2020 15:16

They go up to an XXL, which I think is around a 20. XL I think is about a 16 -18.

Simply Be dress, size 18
Free People necklace

Your Uniqlo top is pretty, Lady.

Another lovely dress @WanderingTrolley1! I really am noticing my wobbly tummy in dresses at the moment Blush. It's because I've been so crap with exercise lately. The gym reopens soon though! It sounds as if they are being really good with cleaning and social distancing. So I think I will try and go. You have to book, even just to use the gym etc.

Lovely @LivingDeadGirlUK! I haven't tried stitch fix yet, but might do one day.

Today I'm in skinny blue jeans, floral navy top from Sainsbury's and charity shop necklace. Will probably wear with DMs or M&S hiking boots. .

sonjadog · 25/07/2020 15:10

How many outfits do you get with stitch fix? Do you like them all?

The trousers in your photo look great!

sonjadog · 25/07/2020 15:11

The top looks nice too (it suddenly occurred to me that it maybe sounded like I didn't like it by not mentioning it)!

LivingDeadGirlUK · 25/07/2020 16:05

They send you 5 items, I'm keeping all of them although 1 is quite a basic t shirt that is expensive for what it is, but if you keep everything you get a 20% discount so keeping it does give me a bit more off the things I do love. The brands I got were Oasis, warehouse, and mint velvet plus two of their own brands having selected the cheapest price bracket for all items. My trousers and 4 tops came to £130.

LadyPrigsbottom · 25/07/2020 16:29

Ooooh thanks @LivingDeadGirlUK Flowers.

I'm wearing an old pair of Capri trousers from Sainsbury's. I kept repeat buying them but subsequent pairs were always too loose. These have faded so have been relegated to housework duties along with an ancient Evans t-shirt. I was window cleaning earlier before it started raining.

I got paid yesterday. Normally there's something I want to buy but this month nothing. I bought so much while I was wfh!

I did buy a pair of gold earrings from Not on the High Street. I've been looking for a pair of everyday earrings for ages and having got my long earrings caught up in my headphones at work, I realised they weren't going to work with a mask!

StCharlotte · 25/07/2020 17:55

Oh and some more bloody "face coverings" but they're the Seasalt ones so I'm trying to convince myself it's a treat Hmm

LivingDeadGirlUK · 25/07/2020 18:08

I've given up on cool looking face coverings, the cloth ones just steam my glasses up, the disposable ones are the best and most comfortable i've found. Medical Goth I'm calling it :D

LadyPrigsbottom · 25/07/2020 19:05

Yep, my glasses are also very steamed up in face masks. I've taken to leaving my glasses in the car, which then means I have to squint my way round the supermarket 😂. It's...interesting 🙈.

I definitely think medical goth probably is or should be a sub group of goth 😷.

Like StCharlotte, I have spent so much during lockdown! I probably don't need anything for a while now 😬.

Casual today in grey high waist skinny jeans from EMP and a green floral skull t shirt from new look.

Cute outfit @LivingDeadGirlUK!

I haven't posted as I am wearing exactly the same as yesterday Blush. Another day of going to the park. Yesterday was another walk in the rain. These are my only activities at the moment! I'm getting slightly bored of them, but not a lot else on at the mo and dcs still seem happy enough.

LivingDeadGirlUK · 26/07/2020 16:01

Yeah I know the feeling, we have booked a holiday in September to go 'Glamping' as Mr LDGUK does not like the authentic camping experience. It will be a change of scene but still mostly walking and outdoor activities.
