Hello everyone, just catching up. Lovely to see all the new posters - thanks for joining in, great outfits from everyone today.
I'm wearing Sezane blouse and Hush harems. So hot today 🥵

@sooverthemill and @toastfiend I'm loving the summery pinks. It's my favourite colour to wear but I can only really wear it when I have a tan.

Rode today, much to the disgust of my horse. She was right so we ambled about rather than doing poles.

Then spent the afternoon being pelted by water balloons, the hose and a watering can by DD and her friend.

I actually walked to the village shop dressed like this and soaking wet to get lollies as it's too hot and I'm too old to care.

@Ellapaella great look. I've got some TU harems that I wear probably more than anything else I own - but only in the house as they are not fit for public consumption. I've flirted with the idea of the Hush harems for ages. You may have convinced me.

Sorry, also @Ellapaella I'm sure if I searched I'd find the answer, but what's the sizing like? I'm a 10 but have no hips at all and I think I'd prefer a reasonably snug fit to make them feel like outdoor wear as opposed to my grey granny ones.

They are @AnUnlikelyWorldofInvisibleShad! I have quite a few pairs now. I really like them

@Shannith I'm a 10 as well and my harems are XS. I prefer a neater fit, keen to avoid the MC Hammer look

Been at work today where we have a strict dress code. No sandals or shoulders on display, nothing tight and skirts have to be at least knee length.
It's quite limiting in hot weather and my office is like a sweat box. Fortunately I could take my sandals in and switch them under my desk.

@Shannith if I had your legs I would walk about my daisy dukes daily.

I was working then decorating again but tomorrow we wait for the plaster to dry so I will wear clothes.

I seen a really nice play suit in morrisons the other day I'm heading out for essentials tomorrow I'm going to swing by and get it. I have a few summer dresses but I end up never wearing them so I'm on the look out for shorts and play suits for a big bottomed 30 something mum and childminder (hide my arse) if anyone has suggestions

Thanks @ellapella. I love MC Hammer and in the late 80's very much aspired to look like him. If I recall I wore massive paisley ones with pink wallaby boots. Groovy.

And thanks everyone for the legs comments . I have never considered that I might have anything other than average length legs. I'm just a average length in trousers and skirts are normal length on me.

In a moment of strange boredom/fascination I have for the first time ever googled how to measure legs and armed with a ball of wool and DD's ruler I can confirm that my outside leg is about 36 inches and my inseam 29 inches or thereabouts. So I have long hips as far as I can tell.

I have genuinely never considered this before. I don't know what it means other than I possibly have my mirrors at flattering angle.

I'm 5.6 if I stand up straight. Does anyone fancy getting some random string and measuring instruments and sharing theirs?

I should probably start a thread about it but I fear the non S&B boards would think I'm weird.

Actually, now I've reread that, I think I'm weird.

But at least I now know I have normal legs and freakishly long hips.

Floor was here before me, it's stone of some sort.

Pros, beautiful, doesn't show the dirt - a big bonus with dogs! Easy to sweep so it looks clean.

Cons - chilly on the feet - I'd have underfloor heating (but mines in my dining/garden room) you'd probably be OK in a kitchen without.
Drop something on it and you know all about it!

I had a stone floor in my last kitchen and loved it and I love this one too though ask me again when it's -5 rather than 30 degrees.

It's so beautifully hot today, really my favourite kind of weather. Hell for DD though so I've made loads of ice! Her bloods have come back normal again so repeat in2 weeks and no one has any idea what to do. As usual.

We had our shielding is ending letters yesterday which totally confused me!
