Hello all - new thread

I really should try that @Judystilldreamsofhorses. I did it for a month in the winter, but I’ve not attempted it with my summer wardrobe. I think I did it for a month. I excluded shoes/accessories and limited all other garments to two wears. It made me realise that I have lots and lots of clothes.

I am thinking about paring my wardrobe back. Looking at the photos I PHE saved for here has showed me what works and what doesn't. I'm not a strict fashionista but like to keep up with trends but I'm old and know what suits me! I'm more confident than I used to be I feel and I like to see what there wear. To cut back ck lately would be a loss of some lovely clothes so I won't do that but I am paring down.
I'm sending back both hush things and the all saints top that wasn't the same. And I must stop my multiple purchases of things I love!

Morning all, it's been so cold the last couple of days that it's been joggers, layers and on occasion blankets too so haven't bothered taking pics......I even caved and put the heating on on Monday!
My Lucy and Yak dungarees have come, I think I like them but could do with your expert opinions! I prefer without a belt (scarf for now as I don't actually own one), what do you lovely ladies think?

I love the colour of your dungarees @TheOnlyMrsW. I think without a belt looks best.

I’ve just sent 5 parcels of clothes to the post office with DD. I really must get my online shopping habit back under control. I suppose I’m getting much better at only keeping what I absolutely love.

Dress New Look

Skinnies topshop and an ancient black top from warehouse. It’s my third top of the day and was in the charity shop bag in the boot of the car.

Initially I had a yellow cap sleeve Tshirt on (next) then Dd spat milk at me. Then changed to a green top - ds got toothpaste on it and I only noticed when I was in the carpark getting them out for nursery. So had to whip that too off and this one on. Ffs.

As others have said I also find I’m wearing the same things over and over. I’m hoping that putting things on here will help me try and be more varied and decide what I actually do like!
Today’s is:

Jumper - a woolacombe surf shop

Today's outfit is very simple and casual. Its one of my favourites though. So comfy and i feel pretty good in it.

Trousers are Saint and Sofia
Top is Bam

Boring outfit from me. Stripy top, Monki, jeans, Whistles, trainers, Veja.

I just went to the shops & bought a pair of River Island sandals I've had my eye on! I got NHS discount so they were £38 instead of £45.

Today I wore

Top from Tesco (again!!)
Jeans from Dorothy Perkins
With a Gap hoody & Dune ballet pumps

Casual today. Top is All Saints, jeans are Hush and trainers are my very dirty Adidas Stan Smiths with gold detailing.

@spencermoon Woolacombe is one of my favourite places. I love on the coast of the North East now but we go to Putsborough (the other end of Woolacombe beach) every year and stay in one of the houses overlooking the beach. My parents used to take us to Morthoe camping for our summer holidays every year - I don't think there's a year of my life I haven't been there.
Do you live there?

Took the lazy route of wearing a dress (Tenki) - I love dresses.

Sadly not @Ellapaella. We’ve been going every Easter with friends for the last few years - we love it! Unfortunately this years was cancelled so we’ve really missed it. Putsborough and Mortehoe are both lovely spots. My husband used to go to that area every year as a child but it’s all new to me so I’ve been really enjoying exploring.

@Wildernesstips - thanks. I love it and figure no one’s going to lose me - it’s like an adult hi vis!

I'm wearing my eBay bargain selected femme jumpsuit today still not sure that it fits me well enough around the baby four year old belly. Love the darts above the bum though excuse the weird bum shot

Black tee shirt (M & S), black ribbed jumper (Gap), black walking trousers (Go Outdoors), walking boots (Scarpa), waterproof jacket. Off to volunteer in a local hospital garden. No style but practical.

Omg it is so amazing to see some REAL outfits to draw inspiration from rather than "it's -15 degrees and I'm frolicking in the snow in my mini dress without a coat" Instagram costumes. Where has this thread been my whole life!

Ps. You ladies all look very stylish, I can't wait to see what people come up with in autumn/winter as that's 90% of my wardrobe. IMaybe then I'll even be brave enough to post.

Sorry, Ps 2 (I wish we could edit threads!) I had no idea how popular dungarees are in the UK, after seeing all the gems on the Lucy&Yak site Im dying to get one. I have never seen a single one here in the NL, so maybe I'll start a new trend!

Currently in yoga gear. And huge fuzzy socks. Outdoor yoga this evening. Was freezing!!!

Have signed up for paddle board yoga next week though. Should be interesting.....
New hangers should arrive tomorrow. Cannot wait!!!

@ememem omg would love to try that, I do yoga every morning but I'd be terrified on water! All my kids surf/ windsurf/ paddle board ( well DD did before illness) and I have no idea where that gene came from.,
