@Sickoffamilydrama oh no. Hopefully things can turn around.

Hush top and preloved hush jeans too!

Will pop a hoody on to walk the dog as still quite cool. Hoping it warms up today and I can put shorts on and sit in the garden to do some work.

First time I have worn this vest and I am not sure whether to eBay. Have weird flappy bits under my arms. Three different bras and still a bit mehh

Welcome @GrapefruitGin.

@Sickoffamilydrama - oh no. How worrying for you. Fingers crossed that the company manages to turn things around.

It is forecast to be warm today. So I’m wearing layers in anticipation.

Hi all, some great cosy outfits today. It's pretty miserable here today! Been a few months since I checked in, but been wearing pretty much the same as the last time I posted. Casual and comfortable! I have been trying to stick to my goal this year of not buying anything new. My birthday was in Feb where my other half bought me a few things and since then I have bought two second hand dresses to make things a little summery. One & other stories navy cotton dress that has already been worn a lot and this red t shirt dress that just arrived yesterday. Both very comfy just ideal for throwing on over leggings.

Sorry to hear that @Sickoffamilydrama I’m also doing no/low spend so can offer moral support!

Today’s outfit is charity shop: Oliver Bonas dress and Next pumps

Sorry to hear that @Sickoffamilydrama, it's such a scary time. Sad Hope things pick up for you. I meant to say, I love the skirt you wore yesterday.

DS tried to hammer down my study door and then DH appeared shirtless in the background during my meeting yesterday, so I probably didn't need to worry about looking smart, because my family were out to sabotage any semblance of professionalism anyway... 😂 🤦‍♀️

Another call today, DH is banned from entering my study at any stage throughout the afternoon and I'm making more of an effort to look smart ish again.

Dress - Monki

Worn with H&M trainers when I went for a routine blood test this morning. Excuse DS in the background!

Sorry to hear that @Sickoffamilydrama. My DP got made redundant just before Christmas - he was doing some contract work, but that ended when the world shut down, and I really worry about him finding something else now. He works in an industry that's been quite badly hit, and obviously recruitment is absolutely non-existent at the moment.

I'm wearing Kodak logo t-shirt from H&M, Whistles jeans, and Stan Smiths. I have a black Other Stories cardi sitting over my chair but it is not as cold today.

@Sickoffamilydrama I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope you can turn it around. Such a worry. I was made redundant years ago and it was all very horrible and worrying but ultimately we made it through. DH is making rumblings about retiring when all this is over and I'm a bit worried about that. Having him here 24/7 is all very well when he has work to do but when he needs entertainment? Hmm

Had an awful night with DD the likes of which haven't happened for a few years so that's a worry as obviously GP can't visit. May have to talk to her nurse I think. Also our young dog has developed a habit of barking at 5.08 and then continuously until someone gets up so I got to bed at 1.30 and DHs alarm went off at 5 ( our new plan is to get up before dog starts barking and make it later every day as the plan which involved letting him bark hasn't worked). So I am a bit tired

It's very warm but overcast here, and my hush parcel has arrived

Too: Boden same as other day
Shorts: M&&S like yesterday's
Sandals: LK Bennett
Plus hush Ace sweatshirt in case it cools down

Love your dress @toastfiend

happytobemrsg · 19/05/2020 11:19

Sorry to hear that @Sickoffamilydrama, so many businesses are struggling. I hope they can turn it around.

Really love your dresses @toastfiend & @KiteflyingKat

Sorry you had such a bad night @Sooverthemill but hopefully your Hush goodies will help.

Absolutely boiling here today. Wearing dungarees I made into shorts the pattern makes me smile 🌈

So my hush things came and I think I will keep them both. The yellow is a deliberate out of my comfort zone choice but I think is okay! And I love the jumper
What do you think? Forgive spare room mess, don’t want to wake DD

Just been shopping at Tesco as it's their last day of 50% off F&F clothing plus I needed some essential groceries obv.
So glad I did as I found a pretty white cotton broderie dress to replace the similar old Fatface dress I've worn & worn.. for £14!!
Also got a pair of sterling silver gold plated earrings for £5.

I like your hoody @itssquidstella, I've got a zip up hoody coming from Gap.

@Terralee gorgeous dress! What a result.

@Judystilldreamsofhorses I missed your list earlier, love the tee

I think I will keep the yellow blouse, despite being very unlike me I want to get a bit more colour in my wardrobe!

Three H&M dresses came, each £17.99 which seemed a good price.

  1. a tiered pink floral one which I like more than I thought I would straight out of the bag, just a throw in cool dress. Keep or return?
  2. a zebra (?) print sun dress which is really for the beach I guess. I could wear it in the garden. Again, nothing special but a nice pull on dress which I could wear at the end of a hot day after shorts. Needs a nude strapless bra! Keep?
  3. I really like this one, again in the bag I thought 'did I order that? But I love it. Need to define a better tan belt I think the only I have isn't right. Going to keep no matter what you say!

I like number 3 the best. But number 1 is good to your instincts are right with 2 not as flattering as the others.

itssquidstella · 19/05/2020 14:44

Lovely dress @Terralee

Really sorry to hear about the business, @Sickoffamilydrama; I hope things look better soon.

Sooverthemill · 19/05/2020 15:02

Thank you @sickof that confirms what I thought so I've ordered a collection for 1&2 tomorrow so I can't procrastinate!

bigeegit · 19/05/2020 15:22

@Sooverthemill really like the third dress, it looks great! 👍

MerlinsButler · 19/05/2020 15:51

@Softpebbles love that top but if it annoys you under the arms maybe eBay it. I find if something is a bit off on an item I tend to keep putting it back in the wardrobe.

@Oubliettebravo love your Boden pieces as always.

@KitefkyingKate that Oliver nomad dress is gorgeous. Such a good find.

@toastfiend love the monks dress. Lots of great patterns today. I only have to worry about a dog and a cat sabotaging my work calls so not too bad.

@Sickoffamilydrama sorry to hear about the business. Hopefully you will be able to turn it around. I will do my best to discourage you from spending but I have zero willpower myself!!

@Judystilldreamsofhorses love that Kodak t.

@Sooverthemill sorry to hear about your daughter. Hope the nurse was able to reassure you. That top is lovely. Very. summery. And I love the sunrise jumper. Definite keepers.

@happytobemrsg love the short dungarees. Great pattern.

itssquidstella · 19/05/2020 15:54

@Sooverthemill I like all those dresses!

MerlinsButler · 19/05/2020 17:36

@sooverthemill I like them all but I think 1 and 3 really suit you. But I do love the zebra print in dress 2.

Today's outfit photo - jeans mint velvet. Cami - jigsaw. I have got a jumper handy for when the temperature drops.

onestepat · 19/05/2020 18:11

What's everyone's opinions on this dress?
I love it but not sure if it's me
Where would I even go to wear this?
