@EllaPaella I'm glad she's home safe. Such a worry.

Can I admit I'm scared of horses? My dad put me on a giant horse when I was tiny and it walked off and I've never recovered from the terror. I encouraged the DDs to ride as FIL had horses but DS is very allergic ( can't walk past a field of them and going in FILs house required oral steroids, inhaler and epipen!) but my animals are my joy. 3 cats 2 dogs

DD is not better at all, her temperature is creeping up and I'm worried because it feels like the way her illness originally started and that led to her not being able to walk, eat, anything really and we've slowly and steadily got to the stage where she can usually eat and her weight is okay. She has asked me to look into oral supplements again eg fortisip but they make her throw up so I'm looking to see if there's a new brand or flavour as it's the flavour and colours she's allergic too ( she has multiple chemical sensitivities and taste and smell hypersensitivity ( eg last night she asked if DH had changed his soap because he smelled gross and yes he has because our usual isn't available) .

I'm terrified of her going backwards as we've had 2 years of relative stability after 5 years of hell. I talk to GP tomorrow.

Anyway clothes
Jumper : white stuff
Jeans: shh ( the Alma)
Sandals: air and grace

Alos opinion on the red jumper. I think it's too big. Even though it's meant to be oversized I think it drowns me. What do you think? Be honest! I can't have something I just don't wear!

@Sooverthemill that sounds very worrying I hope you find something.

My wardrobe clear out ended up on hold because ds1 came off his bike into a wall and needed stitches so we spent Friday night at A&E and yesterday not doing much since we were all tired.

Today I will pull it apart and see what I have.

OublietteBravo · 07/06/2020 11:36

Thinking of you and your DD @Sooverthemill. Hopefully it’s just the latest illness exacerbating things and nothing more sinister. I do think the red jumper overwhelms you somewhat. I’d get rid of it - you have other, nicer jumpers.

@Shadeslayer - poor DS1. I hope he’s not too sore as a result of his escapades.

Please excuse the mess in the background. The mirror is temporarily in the spare bedroom as I’m plodding on with decorating our room. I decided to get dressed properly and have coffee with DH before getting changed back into painting gear.

Jumper: Boden
Jeans: Mint Velvet
Trainers: Jigsaw

Here's my rescue kitty Ebony.

@Sooverthemill hope you get some answers for your daughter from the gp tomorrow.
Yes I think the red jumper is a bit big though.

@EllaPaella glad your dog is getting better.

Ellapaella · 07/06/2020 12:01

@Sooverthemill sorry to hear about your DD. It must be a very worrying time for you.
Re the red jumper - it's lovely but yes perhaps a tad on the large size.

Ellapaella · 07/06/2020 12:01

@Terralee she's gorgeous 😍

Ellapaella · 07/06/2020 12:19

I'm pleased a bit of cloud means I can wear my Sezane Jumper, it's been a bit too warm
until recently and I've been longing to get it out of the wardrobe a little more often. I've also ordered a lovely new dress in the Sezane sale this morning as well.

Ds1 is fine now and looking forward to showing his scar off when he goes back to school Grin

I love jumpers but struggle with them sometimes because I'm very big busted and they can make my boobs like like 2 watermelons under my top.

The yellow and green jumpers are both lovely.

quantumdog · 07/06/2020 12:57

@Sooverthemill Yes, sorry to hear about your DD. Let's hope she turns a corner soon, bless her.

@Ellapaella That jumper is George it's, I need it!

Crappy weather today and I feel a bit run down again. So have chucked on my light blue Juni. Will wear with Birkenstocks and a cardi if the weather drys up enough to venture out with the dog and the kids.
Have a great day everyone.

quantumdog · 07/06/2020 12:58

That jumper is gorgeous, even!

Ellapaella · 07/06/2020 13:42

@quantumdog you look amazing! Wowzers I love that jumpsuit on you.

Ps the jumper is not George's it's mine 😉

Ellapaella · 07/06/2020 13:43

@Shadeslayer glad your ds is ok! Little tykes know how to give us a scare don't they?

quantumdog · 07/06/2020 13:50

Thanks @Ellapaella

Has anyone had a look at the new Lucy & Yak drops? I'm loving the blue Tiloras!

happytobemrsg · 07/06/2020 14:18

Agree with @OublietteBravo, the jumper does swamp you a bit @Sooverthemill but I do love the colour on you. I hope your DD is on the mend soon. That level of hypersensitivity must be extremely difficult to cope with.

Your juni looks made for you @quantumdog. It’s lovely. This thread is being taken over by Yakkers!!

I don’t have a horse (& don’t know anyone IRL who has one either!) but I have two cheeky cats 🐈

Wearing my comfiest dungarees today.

Dungarees: Lucy & Yak

@quantumdog I’ve ordered the grey Eastons, grey daisy T-shirt & sunflower 🌻 scrunchie for my birthday next month. The blue is beautiful but not really my colours. I do have some custom dungarees coming in a vintage flower print with lots of blush pink so I was strong! I love the new tilora trousers but I don’t reach for skinnies anymore. Desperate for the yellow Alexas though to wear with my daisy T-shirt 💛 I’m after some dr marten boots & chunky black sandals so I’m trying to resist. I’m selling a few bits on eBay to ease my guilt. Are you getting anything???

Your Atlas look super comfy and flattering on you @happytobemrsg

And I also don't have a horse sadly, but I have two crazy cats, a little Tibetan terrier and two loveable little piggies who live in the house with us.

@quantumdog love the Juni

@Sooverthemill sorry about your daughter Flowers

Coooler again today.
Scotch & Soda Jumper (via charity shop)
M&S Sophia jeans. They are the only high waisted jeans that actually are high waisted and don’t fall down on me. Wish they did more colours ....

Sooverthemill · 07/06/2020 14:51

Thank you everyone for confirming it's too big. Back it goes! I'm too short!@EllaPaella am jealous of your recent sezane purchases. I'm trying so hard not to spend ( thank godness for long returns now)

toastfiend · 07/06/2020 15:04

@quantumdog I've ordered the new blue Eastons and am very tempted by the Tillora Camdens!

No outfit for me again today, did a workout with DH, about to go on a dog walk, then this evening the horse and I are due a discussion about manners, so I've been in variations of leggings and scruffy goodies all day. I have a Zoom meeting tomorrow, so will do better then!

quantumdog · 07/06/2020 15:15

I think I'm going to get the blue Tilora Camdens later today if there's still any left.
And then after that I'd like a grey Juni and the blue Addisons when they drop.

After that I'm going to take a break from Lucy & Yak and shopping altogether for a while. I need a new car more than I need clothes! Plus I worry about turning in to a walking advert for L&Y. 😆
Of course, I'm kidding myself. I just can't help it when it comes to Yaks.

@toastfiend & @happytobemrsg I don't have any Eastons. Are they sized bigger than original cords?

Sickoffamilydrama · 07/06/2020 16:08

Afternoon all, we've been doing nothing today we now have the Lego out which the 4 year old Not so darling DS decided to tip out. So we are reorganising 10 years worth of it as well as building.
Pictures of the bangles I love the clear on but the pink one was a gift and I've never really liked it weird I can't get it on and off easily anymore so maybe it's time to sell/pass it on.

@sooverthrmill I’m so sorry to hear about you DD. It must be so scary for her and you. I hope the doctor can shed some light. I’ll be thinking of you.

I love the colour of the jumper on you but I think you are right, it does swamp you a bit. The pink one is lovely though.

@ellapella I adore your dog, glad she’s better and that jumper is just beautiful

@toastfiend I have a huge soft spot for ex racers too. I’m not a good enough rider to do them justice
though.

@terralee your cat is the spitting image of one of my foster cats. Love a fluffy black and white belly.

@quantumdog that jumpsuit is so nice and we are mirror twins!

@theonlymrsw as always, you rock your dungarees. I am tempted by the alexas.

My local charity shop has announced its closing permanently which is a real shame, not least because I have got so many amazing bargains there.

Sickoffamilydrama · 07/06/2020 16:12

You know what puts me off the punk one it's also the creepiest looking, don't like a couple of the insects they are a bit to arachnid like.

Today’s outfit, or at least what I’ve been hoovering and doing yoga in.

Top - Zara I think. At least 15 years old
Leggings - Tu
Flip flop - havineras

@Sickoffamilydrama Oh God, I love them both. 🙈 But then I'm one of those sickos that thinks a stuffed Rook is a great ornament. By boyfriend thinks I'm a right weirdo.
