@oubliettebravo can I just ask how you find Boden shoe sizing. I've just had a peek on the website and they have some lovely wedges and trainers but I have quite wide feet so wondering what sizes are like?

Jealous of everyone’s super hot weather!

I wore “lucky” t-shirt from Topshop, Whistles jeans, Adidas Continental 80s.

@Sickoffamilydrama I would say they come up long, I'm 5ft 10 and ordered the long and they're almost too long on me which never happens with M&S! Heavy fabric so not for summer but they hang beautifully and feel really good quality

@MerlinsButler you will be like me and never take those jeans off now!
I ordered a second pair as I love them so much - I want to put them aside in case anything happens to them or hush never sell them again 🤪. But then I ordered a pair of Levi's I also love 'just to see' and love them too so I now have three pairs of light denim summer jeans and a very poor bank balance. It's a good job I've been doing lots of overtime and weekends recently.

Crap pics. I hate that I feel the need to apologise for lockdown shielding weight gain and the mess (don't clear out a spare room and get a bed ready to move the day before the tip shuts!!!)

@EllaPaella have you the link to the hush jeans. I love the Levi tapered leg so if you like a style I might too!

@Ellapaella I'll be your jeans twin!! It's so weird. I actually was looking at them today and thinking I should get another pair to have as holiday jeans. They are just soooo comfy and soft.

We've just rebooked our Tenerife holiday. We were supposed to go week after lockdown. Then they rebooked us for the end of June. Now that is cancelled and we're booked for September so I will need holiday jeans ( ignores the other two pair of Hush jeans already in the holiday box as they aren't new!!!)

I've not had Levi's for years. I had a pair of vintage American 501s that I got when I was 18. They finally disintegrated about 5 years ago and I nearly cried and I've never found any I like since. What Levi's have you got???

I find links like that so annoying @EllaPaella - how can I possibly tell what the jeans would look like on me from someone about 4 sizes smaller? Really wish they would show them on a range of models eg size 6, size 10/12, size 16 or something

I have the 501 crops in black, @EllaPaella - actually two pairs because I love them so much, and I can get away with wearing them to work.

Right now my favourites are the Levi’s balloon leg jeans in blue. I really like the pleated front and the high waist.

@MerlinsButler Hush jeans are great, I bought my first pair recently and have been wearing them constantly when it hasn't been too hot!

@MerlinsButler - I have 3 pairs of shoes from Boden: 2 pairs of sandals (both from the kids section - they go up to 6/39 in some styles) and a pair of trainers. I’m happy with all of them. I don’t think of any of them being especially narrow (e.g. they seem wider than the ones I have from Jigsaw).

@KiteflyingKat - I know what you mean about the unhelpful photos. My particular bugbear is shoes which aren’t actually shown on anyone’s feet. How am I supposed to figure out what those will look like?

I seem to be in a variation of yesterday’s outfit. I definitely still need a jumper on first thing even though it will be hot later. I’m really starting to notice that I’ve put on a bit of weight during lockdown - it might be time to do something about it.

Am I the only person who doesn’t like Hush jeans? They always seem huge around the waist - several inches too big.

Boden shoes: I have several and I don’t generally TTS but I have narrow size 4.

Hush jeans: they are fab though usually roomy ( not all recently though) I did buy 2 pairs of the first years BF ones but decided to sell on the second pair as I had others I liked as much

I have the Levi 591 cropped in neutral ground. The only colour I could get in 26/26 because I’m short. John Lewis annoyingly only start their Levi’s st size 27! Why? If you want Levi’s look at La Redoute as they have 20% off at the moment as does Surfdome. Levi has a weird bit one get one free which I don’t understand but few smaller sizes available. But 10% off for signing up to newsletter. Brands for less often have less popular colours cheap . I did a LOT of Levi research! @Judystilldreamsofhorses with the high wasted ones did you buy your usual size?

Sandals: new Birkenstock’s Eva Arizona. ( consortium were cheapest when I looked but schuh has an offer now) very spongy and soft and when I’m no longer shielding I can walk on the beach in them!

I'm in a light cotton denim(ish) dress from Oasis, bought last summer. Will probably wear sandals later, currently in slippers

It's super hot already here today.

We had Domino's last night and I'm regretting it because I now feel bloated and hate the way I look in all my clothes. 🤦‍♀️ So I've gone for a loose dress, which hides a multitude of sins!

Dress - Compania Fantastica, it has tie straps on the shoulders, which I think might annoy me over the course of the day. I love the pattern, though.
