@Sooverthemill glad the test was negative

@toastfiend I like the shorts dungarees

@PalacePaper like the blue dress glad you managed to shorten it.

@MerlinsButler yes we are very lucky to have amazing charity shops here. Obviously they are closed at the moment though. I’d say over 50% of my wardrobe is charity, I get a few bits from eBay but I prefer to see a second hand item in the flesh as I’ve had bad luck on eBay a couple of times

MerlinsButler · 26/05/2020 20:30

@happytobemrsg lovely top and outfit and @Palacepaper I do really like that dress.

@Sooverthemill hope you managed the medication and your dad starts to feel better soon.

@Sickoffamilydrama love that T-shirt and the monks skirt.

But if a weird outfit from me. I'm having a sort out so thought I'd wear this today and see if I want to keep or donate. It's never been worn so I'm undecided. Not sure when I'd wear it or with what.

Ignore the bad picture. Honest opinions welcome

Dress: Nine by SM
Sandals: Birkenstock's-TK Max

Sickoffamilydrama · 26/05/2020 22:30

@MerlinsButler how does the dress make you feel? If good then ignore us if blah then get rid of it.
I prefer you in some of your other outfits bit that could be the angle of the picture or personal preference.

toastfiend · 27/05/2020 07:39

@MerlinsButler I love the dress. Smile I'm not sure about the sandals with it, but that's probably just because to me it looks like Autumn/Winter colours and I'd be inclined to wear it with boots. I think it's lovely, though. What makes you unsure about it?

MerlinsButler · 27/05/2020 08:12

@toastfiend I don't know. I agree I think of it as autumn colours so I would also probably wear it with boots. I think that was what was throwing me. Because I was only In the garden I just had the sandals on but if I'd have tried it with boots that would probably have helped Hmm

I do like it and even my other half said it was nice. Though asked why I wasn't wearing jeans???? Think I wear too many jeans.

I think I'll keep it and look forward to wearing it post lockdown.

MerlinsButler · 27/05/2020 08:15

@Sickoffamilydrama it is really nice and the colours are really vibrant but the picture angle kind of throws it off.

@toastfiend nailed it saying it was autumn colours and as I usually live in greys and blacks I think the pattern scared me!!!

I do like it so I'll keep it for my post lockdown autumn outfit.

KiteflyingKat · 27/05/2020 08:58

@MerlinsButler I like the dress but I’d wear it in winter with boots (I’ve got some dark brown knee highs with a stacked heel and some black shoe boots, so something along those lines is how I’d wear it).
I’d also add a black leather belt, My black leather biker jacket. That’s how I’d wear it.

Today
Old Warehouse top
M&S shorts
TK Maxx sandals

Morning. I completely missed posting yesterday. I was decorating and not wearing anything remotely stylish!

I think I’ll end up getting changed later - it looks like it’s going to be hot again.

Not sure what the weather is going to be like. Was very sunny at 6 according to DH.

I'm a bit sore because I've decided to add 20 ministers of Joe Wickes HIT to my morning yoga. I was spurred on by a friend who we chatted to via zoom saying she does British mIlitary Fitness every day and now does it via zoom. Well, if she can, I can! It's brilliant fun, li,e aerobics in the 80s!

Tee: hush 2 years old
Trousers: hush ( so comfy)
Sandals: ancient Birkenstock

Sooverthemill · 27/05/2020 09:51

@MerlinsButler I like the dress but agree it feels more autumnal. Just love your outfit @KiteflyingKat, lovely colour top. @OublietteBravo please let there be sunshine. One of the perks of DD being so ill is that she's sleeping a lot so I can sit outside ( or do housework)

Justonedayatatime11 · 27/05/2020 10:51

Boring today. Jeans from Oasis, top from Next. It's cloudy and fairly cool here, had a rubbish nights sleep, woken up with a swollen throat and feeling meh!

bigeegit · 27/05/2020 11:17

Morning all, meant to be quite sunny today so I've whipped out the summer shorts. From Oasis, bought last summer, nice and comfy if a little big in the waist (all the more room for treats). Top is a few years old Vila I think, cardigan is also a few years old from local boutique, shoes are Toms, about 3 years old, probably due a replacement.

Never posted on here but loving people posting their items from stitch fix. I had my first delivery last week. Loved bits of it, others weren't quite my style. Will post my things next week.

MerlinsButler · 27/05/2020 12:53

@KitefkyingKat I agree it needs boots. But I'll keep it for autumn I think. As I wear my black leather jacket continuously from September onwards that should be sorted. . Will have to get a black belt I think. Really like your shorts outfit. Very summery. I need to get my legs out in the sun - I look like a lollipop.

@Oubliettebravo love your outfit and those trainers. I used to have some just like that. I miss them.

@sooverthemill love your outfit and those trousers look so comfy and cool.

@justonedayatatime11 that's not a boring outfit. Love that colour too and hope you feel better soon.
@bigeegit love those shorts.

@Russell19 welcome. Look forward to seeing your stitch fix items next week.

Today - back to normal lounging clothes.
Trousers - stitchfix own brand
Cami - jigsaw
Flip flops - Roxy

I have to work this afternoon and my office gets hot so I have a fan under my desk which means my legs get cold !! So no shorts for me.

EllaPaella · 27/05/2020 13:14

@MerlinsButler I really love the dress and actually I think it works for summer! Could be dressed up or down, I'd definitely wear it out for lunch or drinks during the summer with sandals. It really suits your figure.

MerlinsButler · 27/05/2020 13:41

@EllaPaella aww thank you. I'm torn. The colours are very autumnal as it's a plum animal print but its quite vibrant. So I could wear it in summer if I dressed it up slightly. Maybe nicer sandals .... hmm I do have several boxes of new and in worn sandals./ summer shoes. Might have a look through later.

I can definitely see me wearing it in Autumn with boots and my leather jacket. So either way it's a keeper.
I also realised When I was taking it off that at the front is a little press stud. If you undo that it becomes a v neck dress with cleavage. I'm rubbish at trying clothes on. Shock

EllaPaella · 27/05/2020 14:00

Definitely keep it @MerlinsButler - you'll definitely wear it at some point.

My Sezane cardigan/jumper has arrived and I'm thrilled with it. Can be worn two ways. It came with a free tote bag which is quite cute.

Russell19 · 27/05/2020 14:06

@EllaPaella that is gorgeous! Did you have to donate for the tote?

EllaPaella · 27/05/2020 14:07

@Russell19 no it just came free - I wasn't expecting it, a nice surprise!

MerlinsButler · 27/05/2020 14:14

@EllaPaella that was my thinking. Love that cardigan / jumper. Really unusual colour. Looks great with your jeans. Not a brand I've heard of / tried.

Might have to have a look. I do need some summery cardi / jumpers. All mine are thick winters ones.

Sooverthemill · 27/05/2020 14:33

@EllaPaella brilliant cardigan. Fab colour and so good you can wear it two ways! I have several sezanne things in my basket but we have just decided to get a new kitchen! DH has realised now he is here all the time how crap it is!

MamaOdie · 27/05/2020 18:42

@EllaPaella that is a beautiful jumper!

A new kitchen is always exciting @sooverthemill

Just a day hanging round the house, so Stitchfix own brand top and Gap shorts today
