I love your outfit today @KiteflyingKat. Although it’s definitely not warm enough to be wearing that here.

I've taken the cardi off as it's very warm outside!

Today we may drag screaming and kicking the tweens away from gaming with their friends and go for a walk.
I'm hoping it's warm enough for my shorts. Forgot I made these from some m&s jeans that I forgot to return and had a weird leg shape.

I'm back decided I needed to cheer up and get myself dressed.

Jeans - rolled up a touch, Jasper Conran. Had these years love them.
Trainers - Adidas Superstars
Shirt - it's actually a polyester silk dress that I love the pattern/colour of but I just think it's too shapeless and a bit short for me. I kept as I thought it would be gorgeous opened up as a beach coverup for my black swimsuit. It was from simply be. I spotted it in the wardrobe and wondered if it would work as a shirt.
Added a up close picture next to the window so you can see colour.

Honest opinions please converted short yes or no?

@cravingthelook the dress does look good as a shirt. I like the blue colour.

@Sickoffamilydrama I like your shorts. Regretting not wearing mine today as it's been hot enough!

Right, I’ve decided to be brave and post my Stitchfix haul!
Still not perfected the art of photographing my full-length self so please forgive the shoddy pictures (and the lack of a proper mirror!)
The first picture is of the Mango skinny jeans and the Stitchfix-brand red T-shirt. The jeans were fantastic quality but too long for me, and I loved the top but it swamped me so I’ve asked them to send me a smaller size.
The white cardigan was from Inwear, I would never have chosen this but I love it, not sure if it’s a £60 cardigan though? I don’t know if I have enough things to wear it with to justify keeping it.
I love the navy T-shirt, it’s a silky viscose material and just felt right as soon as I put it on so I’m wearing it today.
They also sent a gorgeous Ghost top, but sadly it was tiny and I couldn’t even button it up (may have something to do with my lockdown snacking)
Very exciting to get a mystery box of clothes and I’ve got another box booked for July!

@MamaOdie thank you for sharing your stitch fix goodies I think the jeans look really good rolled up as you've got them in the picture. I also really like the red t-shirt, hopefully the smaller size will fit.

This is yesterday's outfit - Levi jeans and mint velvet t-shirt. I forgot to take a photo today, and I've now had a bath so will be putting on my sweaty betty yoga pants and snuggly hoodie

@KitefkyingKat love your jigsaw tops. I never find anything nice in charity shops. Love the whole outfit.

@cravingthelook I really like that print and colour and think it works really well as a top / shirt. And would still be great as a beach cover up. I love versatile items.

@MamaOdie glad you posted your haul. I love the red t and hope the smaller size fits. I really like the jeans In The first pic rolled up. That white cardi is lovely too. I think it's very versatile for summer. Would look nice with jeans, anything navy, denim skirt etc as well as summer dresses etc. It's a really nice fit on you. I do love the navy blue top a lot and the outfit you're wearing it with.

My new jeans are socomfy and the denim is so soft. I'm a little bit addicted. It's been ages since I wore jeans this relaxed. I will wear something else tomorrow. Maybe.

I've just made a landsend order ... mostly some sale stuff for DD (hoodie, t-shirt etc) but I ordered some high waist slim ankle jeans in a light wash colour that were on sale. I've decided I wear too many dark jeans

I’ve rescheduled my personal shop @KiteflyingKat until March next year. A shame as I was looking forward to it! I’m going to have another Stitchfix box delivered around my birthday in July. I’m enjoying it so far!

I do feel like they “got” me - anything that goes with the usual Gap jeans and Stan Smiths is always a winner, but I’ve asked them to push me a little bit more out of my comfort zone next time too. Can’t wait 😊

yes I think you can wear that as a top - I have a couple of short dresses I now wear as tops . It’s a great idea.

@mamaodie I wouldn’t keep the white cardi. It looks lovely, but I personally wouldn’t wear it as if it’s cold enough for a cardi I want sleeves - if it’s warm enough for short sleeves I don’t need a cardi. There are probably only about 3 days per year when the temperature would be right for me to wear that, so for me personally although it’s nice it would be poor value for money.

Thanks @MerlinsButler we are lucky to have great charity shops here. I’m saving a fortune during lockdown.

@happytobemrsg sorry to hear your shop was postponed, but you seem to have really found a style you love now, but the shop will still be fun I’m sure

@KiteflyingKat thank you! It's H&M, worn a few times now and I love it and getting used to going to the loo in it! Have ordered a Lightweight denim one from them to see

@mamaodie I like everything even the white cardigan and I do wear short sleeved cardigans sometimes over a dress late afternoon/ evening. But you know if you actually will!
@happytobemrsg sorry to hear your shop was postponEd too but you seem to be managing okay! I would so love to go to a shopping centre, was wistfully remembering Citie de Europe the other day with DD. We always used to stop off at the end of the French camping holiday to stock up school supplies and clothes before getting the ferry. Obviously haven't done that for 8 years! I miss shopping , it's the touching and feeling isn't it? I buy and send back so much stuff because it isn't like it's looks on a website ( though they are getting better)
Have ordered 2 tops from Baukjen, jumper, dress and blouse from M&S. Now I'm not buying anything until next pay day ( DH gets paid today) and I got 2 tops and 2 shorts from Boden last week with 30% off as I think it will be a good summer to sit out

I'm heaps better, DD much worse. Thinking of calling nurse as she has given me her personal mobile and lives close by ( she came on New Year's Day once). I have emergency antibiotics and steroids here always but I'm not confident about this. Grrr
Anyway I'm sitting in the sun, going to be outside as much as I can today hope everyone else has a good BH

Morning all, complete change in the weather today thank goodness it's beautifully sunny! @Softpebbles I've been feeling so fed up this week, had a rant on a family zoom catch-up last night and feel much better today. They're all in Scotland so more locked down than us, we haven't seen them in person since February halfterm or DH's boys either which we're finding tough. Today's jumpsuit is from George, off out to a market town not far today and have put make-up on for the first time in weeks!!!

Meant to be really hot here today. I bought some preloved Lucy & Yak dungaree shorts the other day, which I'd planned to wear today, but they're too big so reverting to some old favourites. They're not the most flattering but they're so light, soft and comfy. Excuse the bags of stuff in the room. We've taken advantage of lockdown to have a clear out, but now have bags and bags of stuff that needs to go to the charity shop but can't, so it's just hanging out in my office instead.

Morning everyone - I was in lounge wear all weekend, but back at the kitchen table today. No bank holiday here. Wearing t-shirt from Warehouse, skirt from Monki, and Adidas Gazelles. These are slightly sparkly which you probably can't tell from the photo.
