Masque Milano love kills is Sotd. It's a Rose Geranium that's beautifully done. Smells like my granny's bath oil that we were allowed to use as kids for a real treat. It's so much nicer than Hiram Green's Lustre that smelt sour and disappointing.

Oooh rose geranium. Sounds lovely. I am in love with Neals Yard geranium and orange hand cream (usually too expensive to buy but have one as gift atm and I love it) Actually it would be interesting to know what hand cream is popular on this thread as I bet we all have lovely ones

Oh YY really looking forward to winter clothes, LOVE swapping mine over. I vac pack and swap them over twice a year as I have a small house but lots of clothes (my DD occasionally moan when a vac pack falls off the top of their wardrobe onto their heads, but one DD wasn't moaning the other day when she was wearing my 90s slip dress with sunflowers on, white platforms and leopard print coat)

Beautiful colour hair Yoikes. Would put a pic of mine but it desperately needs shaving and I look a bit like a hedgehog who has been playing with marker pens. But a hedgehog who smells nice SOTD is the PP version of the Prada Iris one. I love this and it's the last hurrah of Summer here.

celebrating the resurgence of summer with 4160 WIDOMH. My son said I smelt lovely.

Ok I need the lowdown on these abbreviations!

SSOTPEI = seciest scent on the planet ever imho

WIDOMH = What I did on my holidays

As you know I have been eagerly awaiting my WftL. I came in from the sunny garden today to find two red Post Office cards on the doormat. I read the first - please collect from the sorting office leaving 24 hours . Read the second - please ignore the first card, I've thrown it over the (8ft) gate. All I can say is that 4160Tuesdays pack their perfume very, very, very well.

Anyway, the extrait isn't at all what I was expecting (for some reason I was expecting dust, leather and furniture polish ). But this is a richly fruited and powdery-warm amber. It smells quite familiar (in a good way); sort of Take me to the River crossed with the The Darkest Bloom, with a pinch of the chilly cherry tobacco note from Evil Max thrown in for good measure.

@FloofyAndYetFragrant your hand cream sounds delicious. I have a beautifully scented L'Occitane lavender hand sanitizer but I'm allergic to scented hand cream . It makes my hands burn, so I only use Aveeno. I actually have very sensitive allergic skin and react to loads of cosmetics and even antibiotics . But I've never reacted to perfume, apart from when I started spraying my tummy & chest and I developed a sore red rash.

I've been reading a book on menopause by germane greer and its made me fucking furious but also made me feel better and is quite reassuring that I'm not going mad 😬😵

I think I've actually always been this furious, impatient, annoying person but the oestrogen masked it!!! 😡

teta are you allergic to lanolin? I ask as dsw is allergic to e45! Has an awful reaction to it.

SOTD MMM Fireplace. We do not have the late summer heatwave here.

Sotd is Annick Goutal Heure Exquise. I hardly ever wear it but when I do, I remember why I love it so. The (sandal?) wood is so creamy and smooth.

There seems to be a lot of love for 4160T; you've made me want to dig out my sample set. I remember liking Ealing Green but the others didn't grab me at the time - mind you this was several years ago and I know how fickle my tastes can be. @yoikes and @lotsofpots I will see if I have the ones you mentioned! I'm sure you both smell wonderful.

Hi scented ones. Lurked for a while. I used to buy PP Gucci Envy since it was discontinued but just got a bottle after it being out of stock and it’s so different . Smells like a Gloria Vanderbilt. I have the oil and it’s so close to the original but the spray is different this time. Will return. Just found ‘I smell like’. Anyone tried their dupes?

It's awful when a beloved scent gets discontinued isn't it? 😕
