How can I get rid of my flakey scalp please??

Iv had it on and off before but have had it permanently since December. Nizoral works but it messes up my colour so not an option to use that. Currently using head and shoulders for coloured hair but that isn’t getting rid either.

Iv been putting vitamin e hair and skin oil on my scalp over night and that helps but not ideal as leaves pillow case rank.

I really want to get rid of this as my hair is dark so it’s visible. Can anyone recommend how to get rid of this permanently that won’t affect my colour??

I've tried every scalp treatment going for a itchy but non flaky scalp and the only thing that's remotely helped me is betnovate scalp

I've been using The Ordinary hair serum. I don't have flakey scalp but I noticed in the reviews that people said it cleared it for them.

Hello, as a fellow sufferer I Highly recommend Vichy Dercos shampoo. I have had the same issue my whole life and besides a blip of a return (during early pregnancy #hormones) this stuff has worked wonders. Never thought I'd find anything to help. www.boots.com/vichy-dercos-anti-dandruff-shampoo-dry-hair-200ml-10144923
I buy it on amazon :-)

I use the Avalon Clarifying shampoo as my flaky scalp normally appears when I have a build up of products. I only use it when needed (maybe once every 5-6 weeks on average?) and it does not seem to affect my color.
