I love Kate's outfit at Eugenie's wedding.

I really felt for her at Harry and Meghan's wedding - I mean she was what 3 weeks post partum!

Balmoral Castle, 1896 - Tsar Nicholas II with Queen Victoria (his jacket!). Seated on the left is his wife, Tsarina Alexandra, holding their baby daughter Grand Duchess Olga.

I love Kate’s lemon hat, just gorgeous!

Poor Alexandra looks so miserable there, but Olga is such a little cutie!

StartupRepair · 22/05/2020 01:06

Sad - those poor Russians.

mathanxiety · 22/05/2020 05:17

It's the frock coat uniform of the Blues and Royals. The page boys at H&M's wedding wore miniature versions.

I feel terrible about how much her hair is annoying me.

NoGravyForYou · 22/05/2020 11:36

The video of William and Kate doing bingo is adorable!!!

AppleKatie · 22/05/2020 14:51

I’m loving Kate’s slightly shit lockdown hair - mainly because it’s looking increasingly like mine and I’m delighted to know that if I had her cash and time I might be able to have hair like her normal hair 😂

BlingLoving · 22/05/2020 15:02

@AppleKatie. Fair enough. I think if I was her I'd go for a pony tail of some sort. Smoothed back or a little messy, doesn't matter. But the weird half pony with long hair partially curled is freaking me out. Grin

I do concede that this is beyond shallow of me however. I'm not proud of myself!

AppleKatie · 22/05/2020 15:23

Blush you’re probably right - I wish I knew how to do my hair better!

LadyEloise · 22/05/2020 17:52

God I'd love Kate's lockdown hair. Mine is a frizzy mess.!Smile

thisenglishlife · 22/05/2020 18:36

There's so many good products out there if you need to tame frizz/your hair

LadyEloise · 23/05/2020 09:46

I buy hair products that promise the world. None of them work. The latest is John Frieda Frizz Ease

LadyEloise · 23/05/2020 09:49

Oops posted too soon.
John Frieda Frizz Ease Forever Smooth Shampoo.
Promises long lasting smoothness.

It doesn't Sad

QueenOfTheAndals · 23/05/2020 09:51

@LadyEloise Is your hair curly? I've found embracing the Curly Girl method to work for me.

But if you just want to get rid of frizz there's Brazilian blow dry products you can buy to use at home. They're not as effective as the old-school ones (no formaldehyde!) but are good for a month or too, I've heard.

QueenoftheAndals my hair isn't curly but has a wave in it. It is over processed. I keep looking for the holy grail but nothing has worked.
When lockdown is over I might get it straightened.

QueenOfTheAndals · 23/05/2020 11:38

@LadyEloise Lately I've been seeing this advertised all over Instagram https://owowkit.com/

Thank you QueenoftheAndals
Has anyone on this thread used it ?

MotherofPearl · 23/05/2020 12:31

@LadyEloise, I'm a recent convert to the Philip Kingsley elasticiser. My hair is also over-processed, and is in desperate need of a trim. Since that's not possible at the moment, and I'm not spending any money at the hairdresser, I decided to splash out on PK. It's made a huge difference to my dry, slightly wavy hair, which was beginning to look like straw, and very frizzy. Now it's much smoother and more manageable.

LadyEloise · 23/05/2020 12:34

Thank you MotherofPearl

latedecember1963 · 23/05/2020 12:42

Another vote for P Kingsley here. I first tried it from an M and S Advent Calendar. It does wonders for my hair and the effect lasts a few washes.
I'd love Kate's current hair. It's past my shoulders now and is fine and as straight as a yard of pump water as my mother would say. 😂
