I wear brooches ( none of them are expensive though) on my scarfs in winter .

alliwantisagoodnightssleep · 09/05/2020 20:07

I adore brooches. I have a number of lovely antique ones. My jeweller put safety chains on them. Basically a little chain that is attached to the brooch and as a teeny tiny safety pin like attached. Highly recommended for peace of mind.

A bit like this

Royal wardrobe programme on channel 5 just now

mathanxiety · 09/05/2020 21:48

Is that the world's tiniest violin on the table in the C&D pics from Town and Country?

It looks as if the rooster from the C&D photos in Kensington Palace found a friend and they both moved to Clarence House.

Is it just me or does Charles look a lot thinner in the VE Day photos? It seems to me he has lost weight in his face and neck.

Harry ditched the grey fleece. Grin

He’s still going to be wearing a string necklace into his 60s isn’t he?

itsallopticsanyway · 09/05/2020 23:07

I actually think he looks quite well! Scruffy, not styled, but just like a normal Dad of a young child who hasn't brushed his hair today Grin

itsallopticsanyway · 09/05/2020 23:10

Yes @AppleKatie I expect so. I'm the same age as PH, and though string necklaces and bracelets were very fashionable once, we all stopped wearing them around 2005!

See also surfer t-shirts (when you live in the Cotswolds) massive chunky skater trainers, and jeans that were so low cut that the top of your knickers were on display 🤦‍♀️

AppleKatie · 09/05/2020 23:14

😆

Harry looks more relaxed/ content in that photo than he has for ages. He looks a lot like a younger Prince Philip and I can also see resemblance to William which I've not noticed before.

Horsemad · 10/05/2020 08:42

He does look content. 🙂

LadyEloise · 10/05/2020 10:24

Sorry to disagree itsallopticsanyway when you say you think "he looks scruffy".
I think he looks styled - particularly his hair and his eyebrows look waxed.

paradyning · 10/05/2020 11:03

I think people see what they want to see as I see another bloke in Harry there very strongly. But I am strongly of that opinion.

paradyning · 10/05/2020 11:23

I.e I also see what I want to see!

paradyning · 10/05/2020 12:28

That's hilarious!

itswinetime · 10/05/2020 12:48

Love that video of Charles an Camilla 😂😂😂

New baby news

Crown Prince Guillaume and Princess Stéphanie on Sunday announced the birth of their first child, a boy who will be second in line to the Grand Ducal throne of Luxembourg.

Charles Jean Philippe Joseph Marie Guillaume was born at 5.13am at the Grand Duchess Charlotte maternity ward, weighing 3.19 kg.

thisenglishlife · 10/05/2020 12:53

Welcome to the world Prince Charles of Luxembourg 🎉

CanIHaveAPenguinPlease · 10/05/2020 13:32

Harry is the image of prince Philip as a younger man.

QueenOfTheAndals · 10/05/2020 15:39

Ah that's nice for Guillaume and Stephanie, they must've been under a lot of pressure.

That is great Lux news. Always felt so sorry for Stephanie

justasking111 · 10/05/2020 15:51

Watching Harry`s video invictus games, anyone noticed his eyebrows are they waxed and dyed these days. They jump up and down like caterpillars on a trampoline. Honestly I was mesmerised by his rolling eye movements.

LadyEloise · 10/05/2020 19:18

Justasking111
See my post of this morning 10.24 where I mention Harry's eyebrows.
paradyning Are you saying what I think you are saying ?Shock
